Sisi's place was fantastic, it was pretty much right on the beach and they've fitted it out with everything you could need or want. The bed was super comfy (comfiest pillows we've had the whole trip), they had hanging racks both inside and outside on the balcony to dry any swimming gear, and they had chairs and tables both inside and on the balcony (which had a great view of the train tracks and to the sea). The fridge was so handy, there was a wardrobe, and a dresser/mirror, the room and balcony were so spacious, they had both a fan and and air conditioner which worked great! The room was so clean. The bathroom was great and they also had a squeegee which is an awesome touch with the open shower (hot water works not that you need it). Both hosts were so lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. We also got a lift to and from the turtle sanctuary for a great price. Honestly one of the most comfortable places we stayed. Also a great location. Can't recommend it enough.

We were welcomed with popsicles when we arrived. Our room was massive, clean and had all the updated appliances. There was a private patio with a sun bed as well. The staff were incredible welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made the bed everyday, sometimes even twice a day, and they had all the mosquito repellents in the room and even replaced the mosquito lamps, incense and more (although we had no issues in the room probably because of that!). Breakfast selection was amazing and delicious. It was also really fun to watch the train go by in the morning during breakfast. Pool was clean and was really nice to dip in to escape the heat. Super convenient location, just walk across the railway tracks and you’re at the beach. There’s 24 hour security to open the gates for you no matter what time you come back. We started our trip here and it has been so hard to live up to those expectations. It is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

Shashi and his wife take care of guests very much! We had pick-up from airport during night and came straight to paradise! Located right on the beach, very calm place with good basic AC room. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Amazing different and very delicious breakfast served individually with ocean view. Shashis wife told us many interesting things about Sri Lanka-its culture/food/traditions. Organized tour to Turtles farm. Very helpful and welcoming family!! Beautiful long beach with turtles putting its eggs at night. We enjoyed relaxed atmosphere there-swimming, suntanning, eating and just enjoying the moment! Definetely will come back!! Thank you!!

It is one of the best places we have ever stayed in the world, let alone Sri Lanka! A very hospitable host and his dog Maya took good care of us. Rooms were huge and cozy with very high loft ceilings, you cannot really see that from the photos on the website. Breakfasts were incredible and featured different sorts of fruit, passionfruit included! Also, staying in this property gives you a good discount on surfing lessons on the beach, so me and my cousin rode our first waves. Just perfect, I recommend this place with all my heart and will definitely come back. ❤

This is such a special place - a family residence that also...

This is such a special place - a family residence that also has separate guest rooms and an apartment, set in the most beautiful gardens with a swimming pool and the beach at the bottom. Breakfast is served upstairs on the terrace which feels like mini botanic gardens. The best thing about it though is the welcome and the way that Monica and her parents look after you during your stay.

Beautiful hotel with gardens onto the beach. Lovely swimming pool in front of the room. Lots of places to eat and drink on the beach within walking distance and safe places to swim. Great breakfast provided on a lovely balcony outside. The owner, Sagarika, was lively and so attentive and helpful throughout our stay Thoroughly recommended this hotel to stay at.

Really nicely little villa. Kitchenette was well kitted out. Plenty of drinking water was provided. Everything was clean. Pool was a bonus for a dip after a day on the beach. Short walk to beach which had a number of decent restaurants with beach loungers free for guests. Used the airport transport which worked well. Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed in the budget room which is totally fine for the affordable price we paid. The breakfast was very good. Monica and her parents are great hosts and really know how to make their guests feel at home. Staying at Sagarika Beach Hotel is a truly authentic experience when in Morogalla.
