The property, location, and staff all exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and deeply quiet. The shower pressure and hot water was amazing! The staff were attentive to our every need. The food was great with a lot of variety. The pool was a simply magnificent experience every day. We felt deeply rested and recharged from our stay at Ahas Gawwa. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to get off the tourist trail and experience Sri Lanka in all Her hospitality and wilderness.

All aspects of the property were lovely - the lush green tea fields were beautiful and learning about the process of their tea was fascinating. The lodging area was clean, comfortable, and spacious - we loved the view paired with the indoor pool. The food was delicious - My partner is Sri Lankan and we enjoyed the Sri Lanka dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were continuously impressed at the flavors. The staff is kind and helpful. All around, this was a wonderful getaway from the city for a weekend and we’re excited to return!

This place is a cozy getaway from the busy life in the city. The staff were very attentive and supportive. Restaurant is nice and accommodating to large groups like families. Food was delicious, portions generous and price affordable. Breakfast buffet was nice with a range of Sri Lankan food available. The place is a huge with ample space for kids to run and play. Note that the property is huge hence might be tricky maintaining during the rainy season. Thw number of water ponds around, the dead silence and the riparian trees, the the cozy darkness surrounding the atmosphere add this strange feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world, which I love the most while being on a vacation. The pool was very clean and well maintained. There's a kids pool as well which is only 2 feet deep. Sad we had to leave and will definitely go back to spend a couple more days.

First, when talking about the location, it was very convenient. There was more than enough parking area. The staff were so polite, friendly and accommodating. The room was also great. It smells wonderful and spotless. The facilities of the room fit the name "Viluxey" perfectly. Even though it said that breakfast was included we didn't expect it to be that much. Breakfast was huge and tasted really good. Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel.
