The most delicious coconut pancakes I've had! The roti, dhal, sambal, chutney also were exceptionally tasty and beautifully prepared and presented. Also a very peaceful, open sided restaurant with mountain views to eat in.

Very friendly staff who were so accommodating, I had lots of lovely food cooked for me. The location is perfect, the closest you can get to the hike. Nice clean room and facilities with a very comfy and warm bed.

The hotel is superbly located close to the start of Adams Peak walk. The room was clean, quiet and had a misquito net. We got very good breakfast. The wifi signal was strong.

After a tiring journey, we arrived exhausted, and this hotel and its owners felt like paradise. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was fantastic. The view was stunning. Don’t even consider staying anywhere else when planning a hike up the hill—this is the place to be!

Recently renovated, it was lovely to stay in a very clean room with a good fan and excellent mosquito net with en-suite. Good location and excellent breakfast.

It was a pleasure to learn the history and traditions of this remote mansion built 300 years ago for the King's soldiers. The host, seventh generation of the owners, is so knowledgeable and inspiring. Super delicious food from local produce!! I loved the Ganesha in his garden. Gems have been found and I am so proud to now wear one.

Had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Loved the city view from the window. Staff were friendly and helpful. A fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again!

The hosts looked after us very well; so much so that the place felt like home away from home. The facilities were very good and clean. The start of the trek for Adam Peak is about 2km from the hotel, but we got a lift from the host at midnight and it only cost us 500 rupees. So location was not an issue and was relatively quiet compared to the town. After climbing Adam peak the host took us on a private tour of surrounding waterfalls. It was one of the nicest treks we did in Sri Lanka. Finally, the food was so delicious. The best rice and vegetarian curry in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this place :)
