The hotel and the area is truly idyllic and the location is great. Really nice rooms. Amazing sunsets over the lagoon. Breakfast was not available but there are fridges and water boilers in the rooms so no problem at all. After all, we woke up very early in the mornings.

Beautiful cottage inside and out. Lovingly decorated and a very thoughtful host who responded immediately to all our needs. Highly reconmended and we would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Sturmai is always exceptional! This time we stayed at the little fisherman's house and it was absolutely magical. Food, as always, was second to none. Šturmų Švyturys is a destination in itself and worth going out of the way to visit.

We expected to have a short overnight stay but this property exceeded all our expectations: modern and cozy apartments, amazing breakfast. But the fish dishes in the restaurant surprised us the most. I have never tasted anything like this fresh grilled fish!

First the staff were amazing, so very kind and attentive and very patient with us as we only speak English however they really helped us plan out trips, gave us lots of local knowledge and insights and were genuinely just wonderful. You can tell the staff work very hard and it is a long day for them, you can see their hard work everywhere, in the flowers, the environment, the food, the grounds, it's a beautiful place and the staff have really made that happen. The food was amazing, we stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant for all of our meals which we thoroughly enjoyed. You can see a lot of thought has gone into the menu and execution of it. The food itself was packed with flavours, visually very impressive and just wonderful to eat, the chefs do an incredible job. The scenery and wildlife is stunning, there is something to look at everywhere you turn your head whether that's birds, fish, otters, frogs, insects, flowers, trees. It is peaceful, there's something for everyone and the nature is spectacular, we didn't want to leave! We must mention in particular Inga and Aristeir (sorry if not spelt correctly) they were just so kind and lovely towards us. They helped us as much as they possibly could, they let us use the bikes and also helped us to hire the boat. They were kind, considerate, friendly, very hard working and have very big hearts. We visited here because it is our honeymoon, Inga and Aristeir made it so much more special, thank you for being so kind, you are an asset to this place and cannot thank you both enough. Even though this is a fishery and I don't like fish, I would come back here at the next available opportunity - that's how wonderful this place is!

It's a good starting point for exploring the surrounding area and taking a boat trip on the Curonian Sea (e.g., from Ventė campsite). Short bike rides are also possible – the lighthouse and birdwatching station are very close by.

There was nothing to dislike.

There was nothing to dislike. To be honest - Ventė is quiet and untrodden by vacationers, not urbanized. It's a wonderful thing to enjoy such silence. We cooked some of the food ourselves, and bought some (you can see the freshly smoked fish, catfish in the photo) from the hosts. There is also the restaurant "Ventainė", which we missed this time because it is open fewer days during the off-season, but we also heard a lot of good reviews about it.

Great place for those looking for nature, the shore of the...

Great place for those looking for nature, the shore of the Marija, peace, and the opportunity to visit attractions. Great price, there is a parking space, and there is a pier on the hotel territory, from which there are ferries to Nida and back several times a day.

The place is beautiful, watching the sunset was amazing.

The place is beautiful, watching the sunset was amazing. Only the place is not good for swimming, the sand is with small sharp shells, grass grows in the water, you can find a small area to jump into the water, but it is not ideal. The rock garden is quite beautiful, but there is a lack of order, there are some cobwebs everywhere you touch, there could be more benches, the lighting did not work outside, not a single one.

We are visiting Ventė not for the first time and will go...

We are visiting Ventė not for the first time and will go again next year. It is peaceful, great nature, good connections with Klaipėda, Palanga. Many tourist attractions. Annual improvement encourages us to come again. You can always find a place on the beach. Several good catering establishments: "Mėlynasis karpis", "Ventainė", Kintų restaurant, a newly opened restaurant in Ventės ragas.
