Lovely hotel on the river with a fabulous view of the castle. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable room, large with a great view of the castle and river. Bed was large and comfy. Bathroom had a twin shower, yes 2 separate showers in the same enclosure, and was huge. Great breakfast with fabulous selection of hot and cold food. Nice to have sauna, steam room to relax in after a days walking in the great wooded countryside in the region. Hotel well set up for hiking in the area. We used the hotel for 2 nights doing the Lee Trail. Accommodation is limited on the linear trail route and hotel offered a shuttle service to take us back to Hoscheid. Restaurant at hotel was also very nice for evening meal.

The location is stunning. Campsite has some of the best facilities we have come across. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a leaf, which was equipped with more than expected. You can start many hiking trails from this destination which were all incredible. A big thank you to the LeafMaxi team for a great stay!

Super-clean room and bathroom. Very pleasant ambience and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the large television and the thoughtful usb socket under the light. The tea and coffee was another touch that I appreciated. I will stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near Diekierch.

Wow what a wonderful establishment! Staying on the river itself has such a magical feeling and then the rooms just add to that. Very clean and modern with a few vintage touches here and there which draws on the hotel's wonderful history. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant also serves top quality food and their day menus are something to look forward to everytime.

We want to thank Olivier for the help he give when my partner was falling from the stairs outside in the evening and Olivier called the ambulance and take care for my partner all the time. Also Olivier is a great doglover and he give our dog some special dogfood, that was a nice surprise for our dog . all the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much for them if you want something. We always enjoy our stay when we are in Cocoon La Rive. I want to thank everybody for the great hospitality. Best regards, Johan,Linda and our dog Farah

The site is right on top of the mountain.

The site is right on top of the mountain. The roads are clear and in good condition. The scenery is spectacular! You can see the stars at night. The castle is lit up and looks as if it’s floating in the air! The church is lit up and looks so pretty and you can hear the chimes during the day. There’s lots of birds around ! The views are wow! There are lots of paths to hike, to castles towns and s long the river! Not enough culture. Well you can catch the train from Michalue to Luxembourg it’s free! So are the buses. The architecture and colours and hanging baskets are so pretty.

the hotel sits secluded above a winding river enclosed by trees. a verandah where you eat your meals sits next to and above the river. restaurant excellent. breakfast superior. rooms classy and very tasteful.
