"We want to thank Olivier for the help he give when my partner was falling from the stairs outside in the evening and Olivier called the ambulance and take care for my partner all the time. Also Olivier is a great doglover and he give our dog some special dogfood, that was a nice surprise for our dog . all the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much for them if you want something. We always enjoy our stay when we are in Cocoon La Rive. I want to thank everybody for the great hospitality. Best regards, Johan,Linda and our dog Farah"

Diekirch is a wonderful place to visit.

Diekirch is a wonderful place to visit. For those interested in World War Two, the town was in the path of battle in 1940 and again in 1944/45. The National Military Museum is superb. The town is well worth a two-day visit, very picturesque, the Sauer (Sure) River flows through, walk along the river, it's very nice. One caution: most restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday, so you may have to search for a place to eat. On the square in the pedestrian zone, there are a few open.

We arrived around 4pm, the host welcomed us at the reception...

We arrived around 4pm, the host welcomed us at the reception and showed our room (suite "1001 nights") We reserved the wellness upfront but were able to alter the reservation to a later hour, so we could have a short trip to Ettelbruck first. The wellness was privately for us (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) and we could use a (electronic) bell to call for drinks when we wanted, meanwhile we were left with our privacy. We also ordered breakfast which has been delivered at our door in a nice picknick basket. For both my girlfriend it has been a wonderful romantic stay.

The site is right on top of the mountain.

The site is right on top of the mountain. The roads are clear and in good condition. The scenery is spectacular! You can see the stars at night. The castle is lit up and looks as if it’s floating in the air! The church is lit up and looks so pretty and you can hear the chimes during the day. There’s lots of birds around ! The views are wow! There are lots of paths to hike, to castles towns and s long the river! Not enough culture. Well you can catch the train from Michalue to Luxembourg it’s free! So are the buses. The architecture and colours and hanging baskets are so pretty.
