Rustic hotel with romantic atmosphere in a renovated house dating from 1683. Each of our 8 rooms, with shower, toilet and tv, match traditional stone construction with modern comforts. The staff were really good to me as a solo traveler , made a fuss over me, would go there again
Located in a street leading to the medieval castle of Vianden, Bed & Breakfast du Chateau features a terrace and free WiFi throughout the entire property. Our two nights in this inn was one of the best experiences of our trip. Julien and Maaike, with their boundless energy, were exceptionally attentive to our needs. Upon arrival, he assisted us in getting a parking ticket, gave us our choice of rooms, and made dinner reservations for us for both evenings. Julien speaks five languages fluently, switching among them seamlessly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. One morning Maaike asked us if we would like fried eggs, and the warm croissants, homemade breads, and homemade yogurt were special treats. Nowhere else have we been encouraged to make sandwiches to take with us for our lunch. We enjoyed our picnics both days! We are very appreciative of the special attention and wish them every success with their business. Show less

Offering free WiFi in all areas, the family-run hotel Heintz is located in the medieval town of Vianden, featuring a garden courtyard terrace and a rustic wine bar. Guests can park privately on site. Excellent location. The breakfast was perfect and worth the price. I loved the interesting decor and artwork. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The garden in the spring was a delight.

Our stay at the Hotel Petry was wonderful! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom large, and all was very clean. The hotel offers large areas of indoor and outdoor dining with a varied menu. The staff was readily accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

The beautifully restored Vianden castle is one, located on the German border, is one of the great historic sites of Luxembourg. The village is small and can be covered on foot, thou the castle can also be accessed by car or a chairlift which offers beautiful views (and ice cream or cold beer at the vista). Good restaurants and bars in town, a comfortable, peaceful, relaxing place.
Vianden is a quaint, picturesque, quiet town. The views are lovely and the hiking is great. The castle itself is a little underwhelming, but it looks magnificent. Lots of lovely restaurants but not much grocery items.
The town is small but beautiful, and especially beautiful along the river. You have a nice view of the castle on the hill from just about everywhere. It is quiet off of the main road. Some of the hotels in the main part of downtown had tour buses so they appeared to be crowded. The main road is very narrow through the town. Getting around by foot is probably easiest. We came to Vianden to see the castle, which we enjoyed very much.
Very picturesque town set in beautiful countryside with great variety of restaurants and hotels for a small town. The castle overlooking the town is well worth a visit while there. Parking would be tight in the busier months of the year.
Beautiful little village very peaceful we wish we could stay longer but we are planning to go back. Friendly people very helpful. We went in the middle of September and the weather was great, very few tourist.
I was in Vianden for a conference. It is a very charming town but once you have walked around and seen the Castle there is not much else to do. I did go running on the trails that run through Vianden and if I had been there longer might have done a hike.

Very clean & spacious. We stayed in the apartment which could sleep 6 people. Only one bathroom but the toilet was in a room by it’s self. Someone could be showering and another person could still be using the toilet. The view of the castle, from our bed was beautiful! The food in their Italian pizzeria was wonderful! Hotel was a short distance away from the Vianden Castle. Don’t miss a tour.... absolutely the most interesting and beautiful castle we have ever seen!

This was our second stay at Auberge de L'Our and it is a sweet hotel. Vianden in early summer is a much busier town than it was in autumn, and we found the restaurants in the area to be a bit overpriced (including hotel restaurant) or if prices were reasonable, service was lacking. Still, it is welcoming hotel in a lovely village in an interesting region of Luxembourg.

The staff were amazing, even the guy at the bar that couldn't speak any english was really kind and helpful with us. The breakfast is one of the best we had. Donato can make magic in the kitchen. They picked up at the airport, that is really good, because is kind of tricky to get there

The place is out of the main city, that's makes it special, a warming little town surrounded by forest and close to a beautiful castle. Very clean, comfy, nice breakfast included. Staff always willing to help you . You can have an amazing dinner for €9.90. Highly recommended

The rooms were pretty big and the windows opened up easily to provide good ventilation. Parking was right in front of the hotel. The onsite restaurant was good, too, and very convenient. The gas station right next door has a small convenience store too.
