Place is cozy, clean and considering this was at winter time - really warm. Loved that there is also kitchen and common room to relax in. We asked if we can use sauna and for agreed price the owner arranged it for us (we went to some event at that time). Its not in the city and there is nothing much around the place, but its a peacefull place to relax and enjoy the nature around.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Alūksne! Everything was excellent — the room, the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service. The service was absolutely amazing. Everything at Hotel Benevilla is exceptional. The location, in a park-like envorinment on the shore of Aluksne ewers, just across from Castle Island, and just across from the Evangelical Lutheran church, is perfect. You can walk, cycle, canoe, or simply rest in the splendidly lush greenery. We immediately sympathised with the caretakers , and had a few great discussions. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding.

Very clean and nice place. Sauna and terrace, short walk to the lit up bridge that takes you to the island in the middle of the lake. Quiet, great views but not far from local sights.
