LatviaEverything was great. We have already stayed here about 10 times, and we are always happy to come back! The breakfast is truly out of this world. Sauna in our room was great addition to our stay !
Personally, we like the rooms that have a view of the canal promenade, but of course that is a subjective opinion.

Nice beaches.
Nice beaches. A historical town with some interesting architecture. We took an 1-hour cruise at the canal, which was a nice way of learning about the site. The house museum of the Hoyer Guest House was interesting and it has a nice traditional restaurant. There is a tourist map that shows walking routes in the old town, which are marked on the pavement. A tip for the interested: in Jaunliepaja there is a street called Esperanto Street (Esperanto iela)!

The city of Liepāja is truly amazing.
The city of Liepāja is truly amazing. It is charming, welcoming, and beautifully clean. Every evening offered a different concert in a new location, creating a vibrant cultural atmosphere throughout the city.
Culture is clearly at the heart of Liepāja—the city where the wind was born. The seaside is breathtaking, and the cosy cafés along the coast are the perfect place to enjoy spectacular sunsets while listening to live jazz or relaxing house music. Liepāja is a city that inspires, energises, and invites you to return.

Interesting city, relaxed atmosphere, good infrastructure, from the old town, you can walk most places easily. Lots of shops for groceries, in the northern part of the city, there are nice clean beaches, you can go fishing in the Baltic sea as well.

My father was born in Liepaja, Karosta to be specific, and...
My father was born in Liepaja, Karosta to be specific, and exiled after 1941. We were there on a personal journey, not typical tourists, this was our second visit in 18 months and found that the city was growing ,becoming more clean and modern, throwing off the dark cover of it's Soviet occupation.

The Old Liepaja is a gem boasting old and Jugend...
The Old Liepaja is a gem boasting old and Jugend architecture. The city offers many music events on its numerous sites. There are also many catering options in different budget ranges. You can just walk around or travel by car; parking rates are extremely low in the city centre.
The most exciting experience was visiting local churches and the underground art gallery near to Rožu laukums. An excurtion to the Great Amber Concert Hall is unique; it takes you to the sacred parts, such as the stage , dressing rooms and special study and training premises.

Room was diferent as it was shown in photos before booking. Room photos was from another room in hotel but not that in which we lived. So i think hotel administration must be more accurate palcing ads on booking.com. Misleading customers. Room was comfortable and clear. I missed free water bottels which were on first time stay, it was pleasant. Everything else was fine. The bed could be a little firmer.

This hotel is just amazing! It’s better than the modern ones. Very nice experience and they have a very cozy lounge basement place where you can have brunch or evening drinks. I think this is the best place in Liepāja.
