Ir prieks redzēt, ka ir vēl Latvijā cilvēki, kas iegulda laiku un naudu, lai atjaunotu ģimenes mājas. “Siguldas” piedāvā tiešām lielisku un autentisku iespēju izbaudīt Latgali, izbaudīt laukus, un pabūt tālu no civilizācijas. Vieta sataisīta fantastiski, viss nepieciešamais padomāts un piedāvāts! Varējām gan iekurināt ugunskuru, gan pirtī ieiet, gan vakarā šūpuļtīklā zem plediem zvaignzes apskatīties. Ja Jūs meklējiet kādu klusu, labi apsaimniekotu vietu, kur pabūt tuvu dabai, ļoti rekomendētu šīs lauku mājas. Ietektu arī menājā pirtī ieiet, tā ir fantastiska iespēja! -- I’ve divided my review into both Latvian and English. While I am Latvian, I visited “Siguldas” with my foreign boyfriend. Having spent summers in Latgale during my childhood, I wanted to show him how lovely Latgale is. Furthermore, being Dutch, his experience of the countryside is very different. My main goal was for us to see the stars, as in the Netherlands light pollution is too heavy for something like that. “Siguldas” absolutely met our expectations. Due to the remote location, there is no light pollution, if, like us, you’re lucky enough to have a clear sky during the night, you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. I absolutely recommend taking a telescope with you if you’re interested in stargazing. Any foreigner who wishes to experience the beauty of Latvia would do well by staying here and my boyfriend absolutely loved it! 🙂 Overall, I honestly could not recommend this place more. If you’re looking for somewhere truly remote, where you can feel one with nature, “Siguldas” is a must. Everything that you might need is thought of whether it be a blanket for cold weather outside, shoes to wear in the wet grass in the morning, or even sweets to munch on in the evening, “Siguldas” has got you covered. The work invested in this house is excellent and you would miss out if you didn’t stay here at least once!
