Perfect place to spend the night in Telouet. The auberge is super cozy and warm with a wood fireplace. There’s a beautiful view from the second floor. Dinner and breakfast prepared by the owner were very good. The room is a bit small.

After traveling Morocco for 2 weeks and staying in many riads and berber guest houses at all different price ranges, we still found Dar Isselday to be our favorite. Even though we were only staying here for a night while traveling from Marrakech to Merzouga, the stay itself was quite an memorable experience on its own. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming host (Mohamed) who speaks fluent English, French, and Arabic. Mohamed is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas (e.g. where to hike) and gave us many suggestions on what to visit beyond the common touristy spots. We followed his suggestion and stayed at a really nice Oasis the following day. After dinner, we got a chance to hang out with Mohamed who shared many interesting stories and insights regarding berber lifestyle and culture. It offered us a rare & honest glimpse into the life of a berber Moroccan. Even though the owner speaks very little English, throughout the night, he frequently checked in on us to make sure we were well accommodated. When he noticed that I was carrying a giant camera, he invited us to the rooftop which has a really beautiful panoramic view of the valley. The guest house is located in a picturesque valley and feels very serene. The guest house has an outside dining area in front of the main building that is extremely well decorated and maintained. You can tell just how much heart and effort the owner has put into this place. The attention to details is simply topnotch. The room has a traditional but modern berber architecture. On this trip, we stayed in several traditional berber guest houses. Even though they were interesting experiences, the living conditions can be quite rough at times. Dar Isselday, on the other hand, not only kept the traditional berber vibe but also included many quality of life improvements. It was surprisingly luxurious.

Lovely and peaceful. Omar in particular was an excellent host. The terrace is very beautiful and the pool incredibly clean and refreshing.

The owner has been extremely kind with us, he basically opened the place only for us, because we were the only guests. He also cooked one of the best tajine we had in Morocco for a very cheap price. The place is on the road, but it is very nice and fresh even in deep summer.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, the view is breathtaking, we enjoyed particularly chilling in the garden with the cute dog. The staff were very nice, they made sure all our needs were met, they even woke up at 5am to see us out due to our exceptionally early check out. Totally recommend!

Tranquility, I came with my family the house owner Mr. Hussein waited for us until we’ve arrived very late night and because it’s Ramadan he offered us Sahur instead of breakfast, what an incredible man. I would definitely come back again with my family for a longer stay. The place is taking your breath and give you inner peace with the stars mountains the river, we couldn’t sleep at night because of the amazing view, it was very cozy and warm with the fire he put for us.

A. beautiful new building, decorated with taste and local objects . The owner , Hassan is very friendly and accommodating .

The property is by the river and decorated very tastefully so one can hide away from busy tourists activities on the main road. The river and the Mountain View gives a relaxing feeling. I let my window open in the morning to immerse myself with the sound of river and birds. The host Martin is very friendly and welcoming. She gave me the high lights of the hiking trails that I planned to do in the morning but I opted out to enjoy riverside lounges with my coffee, reading and meditation. I walked few minutes to a restaurant at night was decent food with reasonable prices. I parked my car on the roadside.

It is a very nice place in near Ouarzazate, Tidy and clean, comfortable. Food is good, the surroundings are very pretty and nice. Highly recommended.
