This was a very local stay, the accommodation was very cozy with a lot of carpets. The additionally paid dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room was very simple with just a double bed but it was quite big.

A cozy and clean home with some of the most hospitable people. The house is in a traditional style in a small village where you can touch the local people. The home-cooked food was extremely tasty and varied.

Surroundings, immerse in nature, with fabulous riverbed road to structure. Since we’re adventure bikers, we loved every meter approaching Zen Ecolodge. Also, need to mention the best tajine we had in Marocco. Big compliments to Omar, who war very kind and helpfull. Great experience!

Brahim and the whole family are excellent in giving you a warm welcome and stay. Himself, he can tell you everything about the mountains, and even hike together. They can wash clothes, dry it, etc. etc. And than the place, with the view into the valley. A place and experience to remember!

What a fantastic hidden gem. I had an amazing stay here. After a long day on my motorcycle I was keen for a rest and a feed. The room was great and comfortable, the terrace with an incredible view. Really relaxing and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were great too, couldn’t eat another thing. A lovely family that I was happy to support. Thank you!

On our arrival, staff helped us unpacking and also welcomed us with Moroccan Mint tea and some nuts with it. The view from the hotel is beautiful, red mountains surrounding the whole area and they look very calming and relaxing to look at and meditate to, the calmness of the area is not a joke, you can only hear the wind and how birds are shirping and other animals waking up in the morning. As you get inside the Kasbah you are welcomed with the smell of authentic moroccan Roses and as they get dry they give more scent, the first floor has a beautiful sit and read area where you can grab books from the tables and read or play games with friends or loved ones. You are also welcomed with beautiful kittens that are friendly and you can sit with and play with. The host had the kindness to upgade both me and my parents to new rooms that are premium with better view for great hospitality service. The rooms are well equiped with towels cleaning tools and also beautiful balcony with tables and chairs to sit on and admire the beautiful sun during the day and meditate and sit and enjoy the calmness of the area. The hotel owner had Organic garden that they use to prepare authentic Moroccan vegetables soup that we got as a last supper before going to bed. The breakfast was very nice and fully organic with authentic Moroccan breakfast. I would highly recommend to enjoy the calm mountains away from city noises and stress, And for anyone who just wanna experience the raw authentic moroccan decoration and south culture and to be completely Zen. The hotel owner was also kind enough to give us more directions for our next destination to help us take the quickest and safest roads.

Highly recommend Authentique Berber! The hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating, Youssef is also a guide and showed us the Valley of Roses, gardens and many more interesting locations which was exactly what I was looking for to experience the annual Rose Harvest. Sana will take great care of you and her dishes are some of the best meals I have ever experienced! The location is in a beautiful desert valley by a river, a short drive to Kelaat MGouna. Best of all it was wonderful to stay with an 'Authentique Berber' family!
