We were well looked after by Zouhir and his wife; they were extremely helpful and very kind. The complex is very safe with security on the gate. The location wasn’t ideal as it was about 3km distance from the centre of Asilah however it is safe to walk and then easy to take a taxi back. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the living room spaciousness and the comfort of the terrace. The pool area was also great and we were lucky to have it to ourselves.

Everything was just perfect! Our host Hicham was genuinely friendly and attentive. He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.
