Dirty city. Locals very sleezy and harassing gif money.
Dirty city. Locals very sleezy and harassing gif money. Stray cats everywhere. We only dusted 1 night and left asap. Changed booking at midnight as felt unsafe. Horrible place. Food expensive too and felt restaurants unclean. Taxi drivers are scammers / drive around in circles and into traffic’s - even though we were showing them on google maps. Then abuse and shout if you don’t want them pay extra.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Picturesque but very touristy and an excess of street vendors selling many crafts which likely come from China (are not made locally). Extremely hot when we went in July. Very important to get a decent guest house with air conditioning. 2 days is more than enough.Guest review byElizabethSpain - 8.0
Very hilly but taxis very cheap.
Very hilly but taxis very cheap. Not a place for those who have walking problems. The day starts slowly and quiet until about 1pm when streets become very busy and a bit claustrophobic. A trip to the Beach at Martil definitely worth it. If you can take public transport/shared taxis to sights as it is so inexpensive. A 1 hour plus trip in a luxury coach to the Blue City cost just over 5 euros for two adults (seniors). Definitely worth a visit to see a more real Morocco but if you want the touristy vibe head to Marrakech .Guest review byRobertaSpain - 2.0

I think that one day Raddison Blu can be a great hotel as they have good facilities. What they lack is flexibility and customer attention as their focus is on satisfying the needs of all guests without paying attention to each.Guest review byEDWARDUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The riad we stayed at was within the old walls of the medina. The area was a delight and was kept clean by a population who obviously took pride in where they lived. There were many old narrow (safe) streets to explore in the medina with a lot of shops to buy presents from. The proprietors were never 'pushy' and a good price could always be had with a bit of bargaining. Outside of the medina was the usual hustle and bustle of an Arab town seemingly run with the usual disorganised chaos of most Arab towns we've visited around the world. On a good note we found the restaurants we visited served alcohol although we did bring our own, purchased from a Carrefour supermarket in Meknes.Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Martil has a beautiful beach with golden sand and it is a great option to spend summer vacation, safe, people are friendly, and there is so much to do nearby like vising Cabo negro, Tres Peidras, Jebha, Chefchaouen, Tangier and other great places in northern Morocco. There's a wide range of food variety from Mediterranean to Asian and it is very affordable.Guest review byAhmedUnited States - 2.0
The little town is worth visiting for one hour.
The little town is worth visiting for one hour. The location is ideal. This is the nearest hotel to borders. You should really avoid it, unless you are broke and want to spend the night for 15 euros. There can't be place like this. It reminds me of India.Guest review byraddadiMorocco - 10.0

I already went to the hotel with my colleagues for a conference, and I liked the venue so much that I wanted to take my kids there, too. The place is large and very welcoming. The view of the pool, gardens and sea is really breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast is really good and the service is excellent. There are two little things I did not expect, which disturbed me a little but would not change my positive opinion of the place. First, during the check-in, I was asked to add a further amount than what was proposed on my booking, as a deposit for any extra service I may ask for. Because I wasn't ready for that, I didn't have the full amount on me, so that was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. I had to sit in the lounge and figure out a way to have the missing amount transferred to my bank account. On the check-out, I was told that they'd return the deposit amount to my account, which hasn't happened yet, so I'll have to wait and see. I would have appreciated knowing about this procedure here on booking.com to avoid the unpleasant surprise on the spot. The second thing was a small leak in the toilet. I would have appreciated some sort of a mop or cleaning towel ready and available in the bathroom, meanwhile the leak gets fixed, so that I would manage the leak before it built up and avoid having to ask or wait for the hotel cleaner to show up. Having said this, I'm still very happy with my stay at the hotel, rank it 10, would definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends. Thank you!Guest review byMouniaMorocco - 10.0
Downtown closer to the beach feels like Miami.
Downtown closer to the beach feels like Miami. The Kasbah and Medina feel like walking through a piece of history. Great Ibn Battuta museum. Views are spectacular. The city has a very artsy, international feel to it.Guest review byNick - 10.0

Yes, it's touristy, but it's so particular with all its blue buildings, in the midst of beautiful nature, that it's a must. Be prepared to climb a few hills! Favourite restaurant: The Twins in the square. Had a few good meals just people watching, and really cheap!Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom
