It feels like stepping into a little oasis. Our host was exceptional — warm, attentive, and always ready to help with genuine care and dedication. He made us feel not only welcome but truly looked after throughout our stay. The food was another highlight: both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, carefully prepared and full of authentic Moroccan flavors. The value for money is extraordinary. It’s rare to find such quality, comfort, and beauty at such a fair price. Finally, although Dar Boumida is tucked away in a less obvious location, this turns out to be one of its greatest strengths: it provides an ideal base to explore a variety of fascinating places in the region, while offering peace and authenticity away from the crowds.

We stayed in four different places during our trip to Morocco, and this one was our favorite for so many reasons: • Food: We had the best tajines here. You can tell that all the ingredients are fresh and handled with care. The flavors were even better than some high-end restaurants we visited in Morocco. • Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owners, who were absolutely lovely. • Room: The room was clean and tastefully decorated. • Location: It’s just a 45-minute taxi ride from Marrakech Airport, tucked away in a small, peaceful village—a little slice of heaven. The quiet surroundings made it perfect for stargazing; we even saw the Milky Way! • Animals: The animals were such a delightful addition. The cats and dogs were very well-behaved and added so much charm to the experience. • Facilities: Although it gets a bit cool at night, they have fireplaces, which made it cozy. We loved sitting by the fire with the adorable cats on our laps. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas.
