This is a beautiful riad on the outskirts of Milan, with a real country feel. The house is surrounded by a smallholding which has orange and olive trees, chickens and even a peacock. We arrived very late, feeling rather apologetic, after a long day, but were made to feel very welcome. Our host was extremely helpful the following morning, showing us to a small wayside car mechanic who was able to do a full repair to the wheel mounting of our 35 year old Peugeot with little difficulty.

Everything. Living by candlelight and no internet was bliss. Room was gorgeous, comfortable bed and spacious (thank you for the upgrade). Food was impeccable and service was welcoming. Absolutely gorgeous experience from start to finish. Breakfast was freshly prepared, and daily and night activities made it easy to get by the day.
