The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel was great and had free parking inside, which was perfect for us since we were traveling by car around the country.

What an incredible experience! The hostess, a widow from the village, told me the story of her and her late husband building the house, their time in Spain and return. Everything comes from the extensive garden, from the eggs to the vegetables to the copious fruits. There's fresh bread as well! I truly enjoyed the village life; from the hour long walk over to the monastery with attached waterfall. Truly a great experience (especially if you speak Russian, Spanish or Romanian). I stayed just a night but two would have been better.

Vila Dora is a recently renovated farm stay in Japca, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden.
