Food was great as was our host.

Our family of five stayed with Johan and Elodie for seven nights in March. The snorkeling just off the beack is good. It varies with tide and turbdity so aim for low tide and really sunny weather and then everything turns on. We loved the experience and spent our days snorkeling and eating delicious seafood. We took four excursion boat trips: 1.) Nosy Tanikely National Park-great visibility and beautiful corals; 2.) Makako Lemur sanctuary on Nosy Komba in Ampangorinana and nearby tiny island of Nosy Ambariobe for snorkeling; 3.) Nosy sakatia for swimming with really large green sea turtles; and 4.) across from Nosy Komba to hidden beach for more snorkeling on Madagascar main island directly across from Remo e Bernice. All the trips were awesome but the swimming with the really big green sea turtles in Sakatia was a highlight. The caring attention to our needs from Johan and Elodie was also a highlight. We hiked up the Nosy Komba mountain half way but it rained super hard so we just enjoyed the verdant gardens in the forest of spices and chameleons. It was all amazing.

Exceptional… Isak and Sunette are such warm and caring hosts who have created a beautiful haven in tropical paradise. The design and decor blend in so perfectly with nature and help you to feel pampered and at peace. The whole experience was 10 star … from the dolphins on the boat ride to Komba, to the day trips snorkeling off the islands, to the delicious home made fresh meals made with love (even vegan options!!! - the best!), to the paddle boarding off the property, and listening to the ocean and waterfall while falling asleep. Highly highly recommended.

The place was well kept and we really appreciated the detail and personal touch of the facilities including the visiting Lemurs! The food was excellent with creative and new menu being developed daily. We loved the fresh bread daily and crepes, we definitely looked forward to our meals every time! Patrick and Naik were attentive to all our needs and made us feel very comfortable!
