We are here for the second time. Again very comfortable and big room. Room was warm always (that is good for this time of the year). Free underground parking is available. Top location, only few minutes walking to the lake or centar area of the city. Nice breakfast with many choices.

No matter how many days you spend in Ohrid, it is never enough; it is an incredible place that words cannot fully describe. You can truly feel a special energy here. The local people are a story of their own, they have preserved a soulfulness that Europeans lost long ago, making you feel as though you are returning to a time when people genuinely helped and valued one another. It is simply a holy place. There is no single, specific reason for this; it is just the entire experience of Ohrid; it is unique. When it comes to entertainment, you are never bored; there is so much to see and experience that even a month-long stay would feel too short. Ohrid is truly special.

Ohrid is a truly beautiful destination. The lake is stunning, the old town is full of history and charm, and the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. Walking along the promenade, exploring the historic streets, and enjoying the local restaurants made our stay unforgettable. if planning to visit Ohrid for parting the right time would...

if planning to visit Ohrid for parting the right time would be between 20 of July till 5th of August. Otherwise, if you plan to stroll in the old town and sightseeing then avoid July and August for visiting. You dont want to spend your time in the car waiting 2 hrs to get to St. Naum monastery. The best time for that would be late May and September as the crowds are gone.

In this city, I stayed 1 night(it was enough).

In this city, I stayed 1 night(it was enough). I was coming from the Skopje and my Skopje experience was not good. But i was hopeful for the Ohri. Firstly, it is really small and cute city. The local food was good and cheap. But people... I experienced smilar thing at Skopje but as I said I was hopeful for Ohri. A man tried to touch, even he touched to me at Aziz John Church. The other man disturbed me with eyes. If you are a solo woman travel you have to be careful.

Visiting Ohrid is like traveling through time.

Visiting Ohrid is like traveling through time. The Old Town holds a lot of history dating from 5000 years and Alexander the Great time. People are very friendly and hospitable, food is also amazing, water is crystal clear and swimmable during summer days. Not to mention is super safe for women to travel solo.

What a gem it is!

What a gem it is! I had underrated the beauties of our country and Ohrid is a pure beauty. It is visited by tourists from all over the world - I spotted tourists from Asia, Latin America, and Europe. This is how it should be and should continue. I highly recommend it.

This was our second visit after staying here a few weeks ago with friends who made the reservation then. This time when going back to Lake Ohrid we knew where to stay. Paradise Nest is amazing. The view of Lake Ohrid is stunning with amazing sunset over the mountains on the opposite side of the lake in full view. It’s high up on the hill side so very little traffic around. Best thing is to order dinner and breakfast. Home made delicious Macedonian dishes for dinner and great filling breakfast.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel with spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable, and the view of Lake Ohrid was breathtaking. There's a lovely pool, and the breakfast spread was exceptional. It's not far from Lake Ohrid. The supermarket was close, so it was easy to go grocery shopping. It was a bathroom, kitchen, veranda small space, but it was perfect. The owner of the hotel is friendly. I relax for a week.
