The staff was very kind and friendly. The property is at very good location especialy in case of late flights. You can acomodate even at midnight. Highly recomend it!

Our host was exceptionally accommodating. When asked him if there was any way we could leave our luggage somewhere before check in he told us that we could leave it in his home. He gave us a key, told us he would put our luggage in our room when it was ready and let us know when we could enter. It turned out that it was two hours earlier than the official check in. We also asked about the best way to get to the airport and he told us he would drive us; he got up at 6 a.m. and took us right to the airport.

Palazzo Castagna was an unexpected gem. We stayed here due to proximity to airport, but found a beautiful hotel offering the charm of an old building with modern amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The kitchen staff gladly accommodated dietary restrictions (gluten) as well as our very tight timeframe for breakfast. One item of note, there are no restaurants close by... not an issue for us since we were here 1 night and the onsite dining was very good.

Amery house is a pleasant place to stay. Pleasant helpful staff, tasty food, comfy rooms, close to the beach and to many restaurants, shops and bars as to public transport, bus or a 10 minutes walk to the ferry station to Valetta. Every morning breakfast is a little bit different; I loved Maltese sweet and sour pastries, dips, humus. If you're far too picky, Lidl store is near so.. help yourself 😁 there. In the room there's iron and ironing board, fan, coffee machine, small fridge to keep cool.. your drinks and food. And AC if there are some hit tensions while walking around Malta in the hot afternoon or drinking too much of Maltese liquidy goodies 😋. Definitely recommending ☀️

There's a Lidl, the neighborhood has interesting...

There's a Lidl, the neighborhood has interesting architecture. I was there in December off season for a night and it was pretty empty and there were no shady people. Walked to the airport at 4 AM or so, completely empty streets.

It was very convenient for the airport, especially for flights arriving late or early departures. Literally a 5 minute taxi ride from airport. The flip side of this is that air traffic could be heard in the early hours, not constantly but it was noticeable (ear plugs advised). A lot of accommodation, for a reasonable price. Ours was a short visit (two adults) but a longer one, with a small childern or individuals not planning to eat out everynight, the kitchenenette is ideal (sink pots pans, fridge, stove/hob... I think there was a washing machine also). A 10 minute walk brings you to a Lidl store and a fruit and a vegetable shop.

Perfect for someone staying for a number or days or over...

Perfect for someone staying for a number or days or over night to get to airport. Clean, airy, comfortable. Parking right outside and free. Ambience, of room and area was very good. A village setting, but a lidls close by, believe there is cafe's close by.

The owner was so nice when I couldn't get the doors open...

The owner was so nice when I couldn't get the doors open because I didn't have any data, she took care of it and was so patient with me. It's quiet, comfortable, spacious and cosy. The bed is amazing, so is the shower. I also loved the fact that there were lots of sockets including European ones! It's only a 10 min away from the airport, my uber cost 5€. It was a perfect stay and I wish I could've stayed longer!

Piazza Kirhop Suites promised much but failed to deliver on...

Piazza Kirhop Suites promised much but failed to deliver on the above items. We'll not return. Liked · Attractive building, easy parking, helpful maid. Generous breakfast. Everything was clean Disliked · QR code didn't work for opening doors - tried several different versions - thankfully maid let us in. No wardrobe or drawer space - both completely filled with bedding and nowhere else to put these items. Only two hangars and we couldn't open drawers under hanging space as wardrobe door obstructed by apartment entrance door closure mechanism. Therefore no access to drawers. Water only tepid on arrival and in early morning - didn't warm up enough for a shower until after breakfast. Light over desk not working. Aircon heating kept cutting out completely before reaching acceptable temperature. Green light on panel would go out after a few minutes indicating whole unit had shut down.

We only stayed for one night.

We only stayed for one night. We were looking for a place close to the airport. Would recommend this to everyone! Taxi service to the airport through the BOLT application for only 5 EUR. The accommodation is very clean, the surroundings are pleasant! Valletta is very easy to reach by public transport!
