The room was comfy and clean. It had a balcony where we could also dry our swimming suites. The bathroom was quite large with both a bath tub and a shower cabin. There was a great selection of food at the breakfast and a warm welcome with sparkling wine. We had dinner mostly in the Alioglio Restaurant where the staff was helpful and friendly and the kitchen was superb. We also enjoyed the private beach of the hotel quite a lot.

Hotel VIU57, Lure Hotel & Spa - Adults Only, and Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Mellieħa.
The hotel was definitely not 4 star - and the staff were miserable and often on their phones when you wanted to ask them something. I never opted out of having my room cleaned, but it never was. I had to hunt for free bathrom towels everyday.
been here lots of times a lovely big beach with water like a mill pond. Dow side its the best beach on the island and can get very busy with the locals at the weekends. Perfect if you have small children as there are no waves what so ever and the water is very shallow for a long way out. Plenty of food options though it could do with some more public toilets
Breakfast was minimal, just to pass for an ' English Breakfast’. Restaurant closes to early. We arrived at about 8.30 and were informed that the restaurant was closed. We could not go to find a restaurant as parking was very difficult indeed. Finding the hotel was very difficult as we were not familiar with the area. Better instructions and updated maps should be on the website or sent when a paid up booking is made. When we finally arrived, we had to reverse all the way back and go looking for a parking slot. We could not enjoy a drink by the pool, or make use of the pool, because there was a private function with too much noise. The 'inside' bar was unattended as the personnel were serving a private function. It’s a pity really. Our room was upgraded, which we appreciated, and the view was exceptional. but being left hungry spoils everything.
Quieter than bigger resorts so perfect. Really lovely part of Malta. Great for families and people who don't want to club all night. Wide choice of food places by the beach or up in the town. Get a bus pass and bus everywhere. Everything is accessible from Gozo ferry to the airport to secluded beaches by bus.
I had no particular expectations for this trip and the vacation resulted in a success. The family stayed in a very nice hotel and the quality in general of the island of Malta is very high, in terms of services, accommodation and on the food and beverage offering.
Mellieha is a lovely little town, it's perfect for relaxing. It has a nice church from where the view of the sea is beautiful. There are some good vegan restaurants and usually regular restaurants offer vegan options. We enjoyed our time there.
