The apartment was spacious and perfect for the 3 of us. The outside areas were great to chill. Not having a key to the apartment was really good and meant we could go to the beach without worrying about keys.
It was a lovely place and I certainly would go back xx

It's a great place for long and long stays; few minuted walk from the sunset watch point and restaurants, bars, cafes etc. It has a lift, security door, AC, comfy beds, great coffee machine and kitchen equipment; every day cleaning was done properly. It has 3 rooms; one with balcony. Very clean and fresh property; you can feel the smell once entered. Definitely recommend to families and couples; very quiet place and easy to reach. Street park is 99% possible and available.

The bay area is very pleasant with a variety of affordable places to eat out. Some possibilities for walks and swimming off rocks or sandy beach. Boat trips easily available towards Gozo and Comino. Regular buses to Valletta, airport and other destinations for a very reasonable EUR 2.50. The upper town has an imposing basilica.

Lovely village if you like to climb hills.
Lovely village if you like to climb hills. Some of the roads are very steep which is great for the calves if you like us enjoy exploring on foot. There are a varied number of restaurants, we found prices on the high side but this seems to be the case in more amd more destinations.
The main chuch just loves to ring the bells especially on Sunday!!
We were in Mellieha Heights so walking to the beach was to far, it is a bus ride. The buses are cheap and plentful.

If you want to have a holiday which you'll chill at the beaches, then it could be a good location to stay, you could walk to the nice beaches nearby. Just keep in mind either one of the going or returning routes would be quite steep since it is very hilly. But you could use Uber or Bolt for it, it is not expensive, almost the same price with public transportation.
If you want to visit the cities like Valetta, the distance could be challenging for you. It takes around 1.5 hours to go with the public transportation. In Valetta, the prices in the restaurants are more expensive compared to Mellieha.

It is a good point to start exploring Malta.
It is a good point to start exploring Malta. It is close to Gozo and Comino. We use Uber and Bolt to see the nicest beaches in Malta. We recommend Qarraba Bay and Popeye Cliffs. In July there is too hot.

Mellieha is beautiful and a good location for the beach.
Mellieha is beautiful and a good location for the beach. However, we took day trips to Valletta and Mdina, and in late July it was too hot and sweaty to properly enjoy them. I would recommend Malta in the spring time when it's not so hot because there are lots of nice things to see.

Mellieha is situated in the northern part of Malta and perfectly situated to discover Malta. There's shops and restaurants closeby, even on walking distance if you can stand the heat. Going to Valletta is only a 35min drive and the Gozo ferry is just 10min away. In our opinion a rental car is a must to discover the island on your own pace, although Uber is available everywhere and costs about €35 for a single ride to Valletta. Depending on your plans, the cost to use Uber vs car rental might end up being more or less the same.

The room was very spacious, clean and modern, the balcony was huge. Breakfast was very tasty, plenty of options and the restaurant where it was served was very spacious so you didn't need to wait to be seated. Italian restaurant Tosca next to reception offers high quality Italian food and has special discount for hotel guests. Hotel is walking distance to bus stops where u can get to the most beautiful beaches of Malta directly - Tuffieha, Golden Bay and Gnejna if you take bus 101.
Location is great! One of the best beaches in Malta is just in front of the hotel. We booked the hotel especially due to this beach and did not regret on our choice.
One minus of the location is a camping close to the hotel, and, if your room does not have a seaview, then you will have quite noisy neighbours from the camp.
The breakfasts were good with a vast variety of food.
Kristina was an awesome and welcoming host, she was so helpful and even recommended us places to visit. The room was very clean, newly furnished with an astonishing view to Ghadira Bay beach. The place was so quiet and relaxing. Me and my boyfriend had a great time in Malta thanks to Kristina and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
The location is ideal for seeing Malta,Comino and Gozo. This hotel caters for people who come by car or rent a car. Parking is free of charge and ample space is available. The choice of food is very good. There are 3 restaurants on the premises and those who like to stay on the resort can book all inclusive and enjoy the animation program.
This hotel is in a great location nearby bars, restaurants, mini markets and souvenir shops. The bus stop is very close and the public transport is excellent in Malta. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful. There is a luggage room. Highly recommended.
