The property was absolutely gorgeous, one of the nicest home stays we've ever been in. The property is in a great location about 5-10 mins drive from the port and about 15 mins from Victoria for some great places to eat. Qala is about a 15 minute walk away with a small shop for basic foods and some amazing little bars/cafes/restaurants all centred around a picturesque church. A great place to spend evenings with a chilled out and friendly vibe. Each of the rooms has a balcony, comfortable beds and air con. The views (particularly from the room on the top floor, but also the middle floor rear bedroom) are spectacular - overlooking the Blue Lagoon. The pool is of a decent size, plenty of room for 2 adults in there at the same time with room to actually stretch out and swim/cool down. The kitchen is well fitted out with everything we needed. We were all thoroughly impressed with the property and with the communication from the owners and we were all genuinely gutted to leave! We hope to be back soon!

Nice little place.

Nice little place. A lot of choice of restaurants around church. At little pub Zippo’s sit outside and listen to the birds come in to roost after 4pm. What a spectacle. Good bus connection to other places.

Qala is a quite village with vibrant nights in summer.

Qala is a quite village with vibrant nights in summer. There are some local bars and restaurants which are open daily during the day and night. It's just up the road from the Mgarr harbour, and close to Nadur, Xaghra, and Victoria. You need to pass through Qala to go through Hondoq bay, which is very popular with the locals and tourists.

Great little village in Gozo .

Great little village in Gozo . Place has a real countryside charm . Amazing coastline views. Town centre serviced with some charming little bistros serving traditional food . Also a very large and attractive lively church . In the cooler months there are lots of good hiking trails , into the hills and down to the beach . Bus services to other parts of island , running on the hour , plenty of taxis etc if you need to get around without car.

Qala is a small Gozitan village with very good eateries...

Qala is a small Gozitan village with very good eateries right in it's center and breathtaking views and beaches. It just takes a couple of minutes to drive there from the ferry terminal of Mgarr and stands at only 4-5 kilometers from the vibrant capital Victoria.

A quiet, lovely village.

A quiet, lovely village. It's really small but there are 3 very nice restaurants. We hired E bikes and rode all over Gozo, we tried to go to as many beaches as we could, and it was a great experience. The locals are welcoming and helpful and we were lucky with the weather, what's there not to like :)

A beautiful property run by a lovely couple. We had a large and really comfortable room with a large bathroom and plenty of storage. Lovely pool (although during our stay it was too chilly/windy to take advantage of it). Josette arranged an airport transfer for us which worked perfectly. Breakfast is very generous, and freshly cooked. Location is quiet and in walking distance to the centre of Qala (where our hosts also run a fantastic restaurant). Bolts are easy to arrange, and busses are frequent.

Fabulously comfortable hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were given great advice about where to swim, where to eat and how best to access different sightseeing locations. The private pool was a delight and made our stay unforgettable. Watching the sunset from the pool was a highlight of our awesome trip to Malta.

the location is brilliant just off the qala main square where there are numerous restaurants and the bus stop. the hosts were very communicative. the property is spotlessly clean from top to bottom. the room and the pool area were great. would love to return.

The holiday home is new, comfortable and very clean and well-maintained. I liked the little town of Qala, and you can use the same transport card as on Malta. It's bus #303 from the port and the same bus will take you to the capital, Victoria.
