We were there in February for my birthday and it was very special, so I would like to thank everyone for making my day and our stay so special. But our great thanks go to Deepak, who was there for us during lunch and dinner, he’s just the best, very attentive, always ready to give some awesome ideas for exploring Mauritius and always ready to answer our questions. Deepak has made our stay and my birthday even more special - he has prepared an incredible table for us and a great surprise! thank you very much Deepak!! Next special thanks goes to Wadie and Balu for their awesome work and charming way of taking care of the us :) Krisma from the reception desk is amazing - always smiling, very helpful and making you feel at home! Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Kudos to that! There was also many safety signs. Thank you for hosting us Mau Lakaz.

Constance Belle Mare Plage is truly exceptional in every way. We’ve stayed on the north, east, south, and west coasts of Mauritius, and this is by far the best hotel — a real palace where you always feel space and calm even at full occupancy. The beach and pools are breathtaking, the spa is world-class, and the kids’ club is outstanding. Every staff member is warm, professional, and genuinely goes above and beyond. The accomodation is also spacious, great views and incredibly clean. If there were a 7-star hotel rating - Constance Belle Mare Plage would get it! — special thanks to Chef Chinnian, Chef Vishnu and the entire F and B team for coordinating our kosher dietary requirements - everyone went above and beyond. We can’t wait to return soon.

I loved the service from the staff the most. They were smiley, polite, genuinely helpful and represented not only the hotel but also the warmth of Mauritian hospitality. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurants, bars, pools, beach and reception all close to each other. The West side of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for the spa and massage rooms. The Asian restaurant was a la carte and terrific.The main restaurant had a great selection of food for all tastes. The hotel was perfect for guests who love kite surfing, learners and experienced. The snorkelling trip from the glass bottom boat was outstanding, the best we have seen in Mauritius. Lots of tropical fish, all sorts of colours and the fish were big. RS1,000 very well spent. This is a hotel I will return to for certain.

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat...

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

It was a very successful trip. The resort is wonderful and the staff who work there are even better :) Everyone tries their best to make the guests happy. The rooms are clean and large and all hotel is abolutly beautiful. Each room has a great view of the beach or bay. The food is fantastic, hospitably cooked for our chef who runs the restaurant, which has 2 stars Michellin. Additionally, all water sports (water skiing) are free, which is rare.
