Located in North Male Atoll, VARU by Atmosphere - Premium All Inclusive with Free Transfers offers beachfront accommodations and provides various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Relaxing holiday with a lot of fun. Kids did PADI Open Water certification. The dive club crew was very friendly. We did morning and afternoon snorkelling each day which was fantastic. We saw turtle, al lot of fishes, some corals, sharks, manta ray (it was a special paid excursion). Weather was perfect, 6 days sunshine. Fine dining dinners were very nice and the food was good. We liked the sunset fishing as well. We spent whole day bear foot. The pool is nice, but the beach was also good for snorkelling (corals, fishes, cuttle fish). The 5pm shark feeding is amazing. Transportation form Mali Airport was very comfortable and smooth.

Huvafen Fushi is a luxurious resort located in the North Malé Atoll in the Maldives. what an amazing hosting and hospitality, this was my 2nd stay in the hotel.
I very nice large hotel. Service was very good Good quality of food Limited restaurant spaces. Most at the same area. Limited open roof tables and those very hot and with no ambiance Main bar as well.
REEF was fantastic - this was my priority number one (it was better than expectations) Tasty food, helpful staff, clean room Moscitos were a problem, bring your own solution against it Same applies for the coacroaches. But these are not big problem, just disturbing somewhat
The snorkelling here is excellent, just walk off the beach and you can see a host of fish including sharks. The general staff here is also excellent. Anything you ask for the staff will try and get for you. Anis and Imam in the restaurant were always excellent and friendly. The rooms are a bit worn and need someone in charge of checking the rooms and taking care of regular maintenance. It seems that nobody ever checks or cleans the the lounging chairs on the beach. Food in the restaurant gets boring after one week, not a lot of options - one fish, one meat a few vegetarian options. The curries are very good. If you don't get to the restaurant in the first 40 min that it opens for a meal chances are most of the salads will be gone and replaced with bowls of some type of coleslaw. The almost daily smell of motor oil on the beach near the spa was off putting.
We stayed in a Beach Villa King room for 7 days. It was our second visit and we would come here every year if we could. It is the epitome of luxury beach living in the Maldives and is favoured by billionaires and ordinary people like us alike. The food and service are exemplary and the staff know you by name and look after your every need. The manager Jan Tibaldi is interested in every guest. We would recommend staying on the east side of the Island in November since the west side seems to face the prevailing winds. We asked for and got the same room that we had the first time we visited but this of course is not guaranteed. It is a good place for families but catered equally well for couples. The amount of space that you have is amazing, there is about 800m of beach shared between 10 villas so it's unusual to see anyone else. Reef life under our water villa was amazing and snorkels are highly recommended to explore them. It would be helpful for the hotel to more clearly point out places where the half board allowance does not apply at all (for example the Fanditha buffet night and the food market night). However the central restaurant core had so much variety that eating a different menu there every night for 10 nights would not exhaust the selection. We are looking forward to our next visit.
