For hotels in Acapulco that serve highly-rated breakfasts, try Rojo Manglar Acapulco, Gamma Acapulco Copacabana, and Encanto Acapulco.
These hotels in Acapulco are highly rated by couples: Encanto Acapulco, Monyoli Hotel & Boutique, and Holiday Inn Acapulco La Isla, an IHG Hotel.
Encanto Acapulco, Hotel Casa de sal, and Casa Jaguar Hotel & Boutique got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Acapulco.
I expected a bit more from this allegedly iconic place. Having been to Monaco, Cote d'Azur, Marbella etc., this one looks a bit shabby in comparison. Hardly anything to see beyond beaches, restaurants, sea trips etc. But overall a nice place for holidays with kids - great weather, lovely beach, warm waters.
Despite the hype created by media for safety concerns it is very much safe in Acapulco only need to avoid Bad Neighborhoods to see Acapulco securely, stick to the tourist districts and avoid venturing too far off the beaten path, particularly at night or while you’re alone – this will keep you away from potential dangers. Despite this, Acapulco has a plethora of fascinating sites worth seeing. At La Quebrada, you may witness the cliff divers, known as clavadistas, perform. Cliff diving demonstrations by these courageous young sportsmen are always a sight to see. A quiet stroll along Acapulco’s stunning beaches for a more peaceful experience. Sinfonia del Mar is also great for watching the sunset. I strongly recommend if you’re traveling alone, staying away from parts of Acapulco where tourists are less frequent is imperative. There is a general trend toward a greater incidence of both minor and severe crimes in residential sections of the city. Additionally, it’s not a good idea to go to other parts of Guerrero since the overall crime rate in the state is far greater than that of Acapulco. Refrain from using illegal taxis anywhere in the surrounding region. Instead, use trustworthy transportation providers suggested by the employees at your resort or a law enforcement official.
It's a wonderful place, personal great , food good, everything you need they have it for you in a few minutes, they are so kind , mosquito repellent every where, very nice stay , I really had a wonderful stay, I will return pretty soon.
I love the great staff service, cleanness of property, landscaping, ocean view, safety, very private property, quiet and peaceful! Excellent Hotel Taxi Service and great free transportation within the Las Brisas Hotel I was very lucky to have the taxi driver, Jose Luis, he was out driver and tourist guide for the same hourly rate, he is one of the best and very honest and polite!!!
Top attraction the San Diego Fort and the Diego Rivera mural or House of the winds are closed due to COVID. Also the most popular sunset cruise AVA REY is closed. Busses have AC are cheap, run well and are frequent. No need to have a car. Taxis are also cheap costing 50 pesos buses are 10 pesos. The Blue buses are entertaining with loud music lights. The Fort is an out door federal museum so no reason for it to be closed. Mask policy in force. Beaches are great and there are plenty of them. I find Mazatlan a better place to visit. DINKA sunset cruise is in Spanish. Worth the price because they have cliff divers for entertainment
Acapulco is not what it used to be. The beaches are overcrowded and dirty, the city itself is hectic and dangerous. But Acapulco is still Acapulco. The bay and the views are spectacular and if you know where to go you'll have an amazing experience. I do not recommend staying in La Costera. The main beaches are so overcrowded and a real mess. Stay in the surrounding hills. Las Brisas is still spectacular, as are other boutique hotels nearby. El Princess and La Piramide are spectacular hotels but they too have suffered from overcrowding and declining services and the beach is not what it used to be...so overcrowded and disgusting, we almost stepped in feces a few times and were almost run over by people driving recklessly on the beach. The beaches toward the airport are a bit better, less crowded. If you havent been to Acapulco you have to go. But choose hotels away from the downtown and Costera and find secluded beaches or clubs if you can.
In the heart of olde Acapulco - a fantastically authentically located and serviced restaurant/hotel. In its authenticity - staff are Mexican and local - so patience is needed and wholly appreciated by the staff. Food is great - All Inclusive is recommended! English speaking ,Julian, is the General Manager and Socrates is Front of House/Reception Manager - call on these for any needs. A lovely family/friends focused hotel - servicing hundreds and hundreds of happy guests!
Beautiful property with the most amazing views of Acapulco bay. The hotel knew it was my husbands birthday and went above and beyond to help make our stay special. Ricardo arranged a beautiful private sunset dinner. The food was amazing! Our waiter Antonio was so friendly, polite and helpful. We also had dinner at Saffron, our dinner there was also wonderful. Service and food was 5*. Every single member of staff that we met on the property was so helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect literally across the street from the beach, next to a shopping mall, restaurants, convenient stores and grocery stores! I was born and raised in Acapulco so I felt like home at this property! My room had a partial view of the bay which was lovely. Having a kitchenette was a plus! I am definitely going back.
Family hotel with a quiet beach, very clean, already a few years old but with excellent service. A great advantage is being able to use the facilities of the Princess and the imperial world with parking and/or transportation included (check schedules).
This hotel is very good got everything you need 24 hour room service this is good can get beers at anytime as in acapulco bars close at 12 due to covid location close to restaurants and bars hotel right on the beachfront
The beach is very close, it is located on the main avenue in Acapulco called La Costera and there are many restaurants and shops close. The staff is very kind and they allow you to keep your luggage after check out
Good staff. Facilities are also good. I liked so much the adults-only pool area. The view from the rooms is great. I think it is one of the best options in Acapulco, a little bit above average.
The SPA in the last floor of hotel have an amazing view!, My room was in floor one and the view was wonderful also. Is a modern hotel, really good for couples. Service was the best!
The location of the hotel is great, lots of convenience stores near by, like the OXXO open 24/7, restaurants, and the beach 2 mins walking distance.
very beautiful hotel, comfortable, in front of an amazing beach. Room with balcony, very beautiful view.
