The property is in a residential area about ten minutes walk from the central square. Stunningly furnished and decorated there is a central kitchen with bbq and pizza oven. Not that we made use of these but as options to have - fabulous. Rooms are clean beautifully decorated. Air con is great as is water pressure. Would love to have stayed longer.

We had a very large room with a well-equipped kitchen and a combination washer-dryer in an old and beautifully restored building just outside the center, about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the Plaza Independencia. Space to relax and with a comfortable couch and chairs and a table and chairs for meals. Ideal for a couple of days or a couple of weeks.

The host was incredibly kind and flexible. We arrived before check-in and fell in love with one of the rooms, which they immediately switched for us upon request. The place is simply wonderful! The location is perfect — we easily found parking right in front, and there’s a great restaurant just next door. The building’s atmosphere, the courtyard, and the little kitchen corner are all incredibly charming. Everything has been thoughtfully designed. The interior design is five-star — the walls, the tiles, the furniture, all made from high-quality materials. Even the accessories match perfectly. We absolutely loved it. Our heartfelt congratulations to the designer and the owner. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Beautiful old city within the walls. Museums were great, lots of very good restaurants and cafes. Well worth at least 3 days. Easy to walk the whole old city. Forte de San Miguel has the relics from the Mayan temples and is very interesting .

Tram ride around town to get our bearings. Historical houses to look around. Fab Hilda Kshlo 3D/virtual reality exhibition in the library main square ( changes all the time), Dancing fountains on the malecon. Calakmul jade masks on show in museums.

I needed to do more research to be ready to explore things - for my interests. However, it is easy to walk and see the sights on your own. Lots of good places to shop and eat. La Maria for great food and margaritas and a few nice shops at the opposite end of Calle59 - especially Taller Mayaby the gate.

It was quiet, clean, modern. Hot water, hair dryer, iron. Only two blocks to ocean, good coffee, great restaurants and good shopping. The staff understood English and I felt totally safe walking at night.

We've lived in Merida for 2 years and Campeche is our...

We've lived in Merida for 2 years and Campeche is our favorite get-away. Seaside on the Gulf with a long and beautiful Malecon. Any type of restaurant you could ask for. The entire Historical Centro is very walkable. The portions of the remaining fortification are impressive. Plenty of tours to take and sightseeing to do. In our travels in Mexico, we have not encountered a nicer main Mercado. Not the largest, but one of the cleanest with some of the best produce we've found. They do not have Uber, but the taxis are reasonably priced.

The location is superb, right on the main walking street, full of bars and restaurants. Overall, Campeche really surprised me with beautiful, colourful streets and lots of bars and tables outside. The hotel is quite small and narrow but it is understandable for the old part of the city. It has a nice terrace with a view and a small pool that looked clean although we didn't use it. Everything is very nicely decorated. We had a room on the ground floor (perfect for in and out) - it was quite big with two beds, each in a separate room.

Elda, the host, was super nice and gave us a lot of recommandations for Campeche. The room itself was very clean and comfy with a nice shower. We had no AC but we were aware, but instead there was a big Fan which helped in the heat. There is also a shared kitchen with everything you need. 15 min walk to the city, 5min to Walmart and the ocean, so perfectly located. Elda also arranged a Taxi for us to take us to the ado bus Station. Outstanding place, definately recommanded.

We have stayed in a few accommodations in Mexico and this was by far the best and well decorated. Communication with José is super easy and very helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and the air conditioning works perfectly. You can really see the love that has gone into the decor and surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
