Absolutely stunning hotel in the middle of the jungle, very convenient if you want to visit Calakmul. Only 10km from the entrance to the site, they offer transportation. Super friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous room, spacious, comfy bed, even a little hammock on the balcony. Two nice pools on the deck where all you here are the sounds of the jungle. The food and drinks in the restaurant are good, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!

Villas Chicanna Calakmul
We liked the arrangement of the cabanas with the great green spaces in-between. The WiFi was strong, the staff were congenial and the rooms were immaculate. It is a good place to stay for visiting Calakmul and we would happily stay here again. We see some complaints earlier on this forum about the restaurant prices but they were completely in line with prices at similarly good sit-down restaurants.

A pleasure to stay here. My bed was very comfortable, the room quiet, the staff were super helpful and friendly. All the meals were just delicious. Hotel Plaza Campeche is 2 blocks from the main square and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The location is perfect—5 minutes to the Malecón, a short walk to pedestrian 59th Street, and just 2 minutes to the main fortress. The room is beautiful, not huge, but very comfortable, and it even has a small kitchenette
The apartments are well taken care of. The personnel spoke English. The breakfast was included in the price.
