The hotel is a small oasis in a very busy part of the town. The rooms are large with good sized balconies looking over the pool. The décor in the rooms is basic but everything worked (although the power did keep going on and off in the evening!) We really liked the shared fridge and sink area with washing up liquid etc. Menus are also provided to order food in if you don't want to drive into town or to a beach club. Hotel has a small area to park. The pool is clean and a good size although was so full of children the evening we arrived we didn't get to use it until the morning. Staff are very helpful and helped us book a dolphin viewing trip as we checked in - we were then out on the sea (and saw dolphins) an hour later! Breakfast was a nice surprise.

This is a fabulous and spacious house right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico on a remote stretch of the gulf coast highway. It features a large palapa, decent kitchen, big living room and comfortable space to sleep up to 8 people. We were only four, which means it's not cheap but still worth the money. The location is somewhat remote, which means you have the beach for your own. On the nearby Isla Aguada, there are some classical beachfront palapas serving Mexican seafood. With a big fridge, you can also bring your own food.

Isla Aguada is now a magical pueblo and it has a ways to go...

Isla Aguada is now a magical pueblo and it has a ways to go to live up to that name. It is a scrubby town that is trying to improve. We were there off season and on a Monday when most things were closed, so it is probably much more lively in the summer. Lots of seafood restaurants and the main draw is that a boat will take you out to see the dolphins. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was great fun and we saw a lot of dolphins. Our guide told us the time from March to August is better, the water is calmer and clearer and there are more dolphins, plus sea turtles.

We stayed at Cielo Bonito Hotel Boutique and found the design and location pleasant. Reception: very professional and attentive staff member at the front desk Other staff: seemed less engaged at times Breakfast: not included — at this price level, it would be appropriate Note: service feels somewhat relaxed, possibly due to limited competition in the area Overall, comfortable stay, but more effort would make it match its boutique pricing.

What I liked the most about the hotel is the location, in less than 10 min by walking you can get to the pier where the boats that take you to dolphins sighting tours are, or you can ride on a free bike that hotel gives you and explore the area in minutes.

This was a great find in Isla Aguada. After you pass through the reception office, you enter a peaceful tropical setting, all immaculately kept. Excellent location for cruising the town on foot.
