- private and right next to the sand dunes and beach - nicely decorated, comfy bed, great! Hot shower - lovely welcome with a small bottle of wine as a welcome present - really friendly and cuddly dogs around the facilities - the arrival instructions were very clear and we had no issues in getting there (midsized sedan car)

We stayed two nights at Quinta Lolita, one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. We had a great experience. Since we arrived a bit late, we had to let ourselves in. This was not a problem since everything had been communicated well in advance via the Booking messaging system. The room was ready for our arrival, and it was very comfortable, clean, close to amazing restaurants, and the meeting point of several tours. Coming from Mexico City I was a bit uncomfortable about the fact that we had to park the rental car on the street, next to the hotel, but La Paz is very different from Mexico City and it indeed safe to leave your car on the street, we saw a lot of big and expensive looking cars parked all around the city. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in storage since we checked out a bit late. Quinta Lolita has the best beds I've ever slept on. They were soft but firm at the same time, and they were what we needed after a long day. My only problem was that we could hear some noise coming from the street. For my husband, it was not a problem; he slept through it, but I had to go and find some earplugs. Fortunately, for our second night, we had booked a bigger room that was not next to the street, and that was perfect. We did not cook there, but they had all that you need to make yourself a nice meal. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The second time we stayed there, we arrived very early, intending to leave our luggage stored there, but the manager let us get into our room since it was ready. I find that very generous, and it was super helpful to freshen up after a 5-hour trip. Although I travelled with my partner, this place felt very safe for women who travel alone.

I left my backpack in the taxi as i arrived. It was night time. The staff was amazing. My spanish isn't great but they helped me get a cab back to the airport that night and again the next day. They were genuinely concerned for my wellbeing and helped me get my backpack badk. Way, way, way over and above their jobs to make sure I was taken care of.

The location was amazing - next to a lovely square and close to all main areas. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the room was cleaned up every day. I also liked the unique character of the hotel - it felt more like an old traditionl villa, and the artwork downstairs was beautiful.

Malecón 1680 is a gorgeous new property with the most incredible views. It’s beautifully designed and very comfortable. The location is ideal. The virtual staff is very responsive and the check in was smooth. We really enjoyed staying here and will be back.

Beautifully furnished, we requested a quiet room and it was quiet. Staff were very accommodating as we arrived later than planned. Highly recommend!
