We were very thankful to Mario.. he was very attentive to anything we needed… Beautiful view from our rooms and our beds were super comfortable… I would definitely recommend this place… Very peaceful… loved it…
Beautiful. We've driven down here twice in 2019 and recently in 2022. Can't wait to go back. Guadalupe Valley is rural and so very relaxing. The people are very, very nice, and there's excellent wineries and outstanding places to dine. This is foodie and wine heaven! Favorite places to eat: Deckman's, Fauna, Animalon, Finca Altozano, & La Cocina de Dona Esthela. Many excellent wineries. I've been all over Baja and many places such as Mexico City, Monterrey, etc., but this is absolutely the best. It's only two hours south of San Diego. Be sure to get the app to check on the wait times to leave G.V. Once it was 3 hours and the last time was 5 minutes. Best time to visit is during the week and leave before Friday and the weekend. We drove through Tecate each time which made it easy and safe.
I work in wine. I’ve visited wine countries all over the world. I was so excited to explore Valle, and sadly it was awful. It’s more of a tourist trap than a serious wine region. But with Napa prices. Do better. This is a shameful expression of wine country. In any country. Better value in Napa or France. Honestly, save your money and go to South America where they welcome tourists without the “gringo tax.” But hey if you’re here for the “gram” you’ll be welcome with open arms.
Lots of wine, and craft beer tasting. Excellent choices of dining, from small family owned, to large restaurants with entertainment. Outdoor dining is always appreciated. (Unless someone next to you lights up a cigarette/cigar.) Many choices for a place to stay now, from small B&Bs, to larger hotels and motels. The traffic increase over the past 25 years has been more than noticeable. Careful driving is needed, with lots of speeders and trucks. But the beautiful vineyards, weather, and people in the hospitality businesses make up for it.
It is a great experience if you like wine and vineyards (I hear they have a lot of craft beer as well but didnt visit any place specialized on it). The weather was nice (warm during the day and chilly at night), there are very nice views around to take pictures, the food is great at most restaurants and the vibe is cool for a romantic or friends getaway. If you’re visiting from Mexico, the area is expensive compared to what you pay in other parts of the country.
The hotel is on a beautiful property that has great views. The pictures don't do it justice. I went with a group of 8 who were looking for a nice tranquil time after wine tasting. It was the perfect venue. I was concerned with my groups expectations as they all tend to be luxurious travelers. The hotel lived up to there expectations. Staff was above and beyond. Accommodations included a hot tub (that was actually hot), pool, bar, and restaurant. I would stay here again.
Valle de Guadalupe
I really liked Siempre Valle. The rooms are big and comfortable, they have a little balcony with a fire pit and a nice view, and they offer water, coffee, and a bottle of wine as a courtesy. They also have a mini fridge with drinks and snacks you can buy. The hotel’s pool is nice and my favorite part was the fire pit they have outside where you can have a glass of wine and chill. Mario, who is in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful to us.
The hotel is off a main dirt road which is also the main dirt road to the local neighborhood. Locals rip up and down this road creating plumes of dust coating you as you stand there waiting to cross the road . No big deal its baja. With a baja neigborhood comes the non stop barking dogs. Literally all night long at the back of the property. It's as if the neighborhood is pissed that a resort went in and they planted the dogs.
the location was easy to find, close to many vineyards and restaurants. We loved the feeling of being in a tree house and we also loved the way that when they built these rooms they respected all the nature and included it in their rooms. Gigi was the best hostess explaining the concept of the rooms and what we could enjoy inside and out of the property we will definitely be coming back to this peaceful place
Valle de Guadalupe
Place was beautiful and very spacious, better than what shown in the pictures. It was in a great location, a short drive from many wineries. You get to stay at a vineyard, which makes it perfect for pictures taking. Overall, I was able to relax and enjoy a BBQ and have dinner outside after a long day of visiting restaurants and wineries.
Valle de Guadalupe
The house is super big! We enjoyed the outdoor grill as well as the kitchen which is fully equipped. The design of the house is amazing. Perfect place to travel with your family, group of friends and pets. Great value for Valle de Guadalupe. Very well located. Just a few minutes away from the main restaurants in Valle de Guadalupe.
The hotel was perfect. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable, with a huge, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful, and the breakfast was a highlight. Valle de Guadalupe
Super cozy hotel, José, Alonso, Karla, and their whole family are very nice and hospitable. Alonso also happens to be a great cook! The hotel has a lot of character and it’s gorgeous. They treated us like family, definitely recommend :)
Carlos, the concierge was very friendly and helps with organizing trips around The Valley. You can rent bikes and discover close by wineries by yourself. The hotel ist nice but I’d recommend to go there during warmer weather.
Stuff was very kind and friendly even night time we check-in. He gave us free bread for breakfast. The place was so clean. It’s like very new hotel. We enjoy staying there. That was best experience and good start new year.
The hotel is very beautiful, it has nice trails you can walk, fire pits, and great views of the valley. The rooms are cute, clean, and the panoramic window is the best of them. Overall very comfortable stay.
Valle de Guadalupe
