Give it few years and maybe its worth the price that is asked. Over rated and way over priced. Ive had better experience going to the Temecula and Napa Vinyards and payed around the same price. Save ur money
Great Place, close to wineries, very clean and modern decor. The pool and the area is nice. The breakfast could be better, very basic. Overall good place to stay for a night. They have glamping facilities and they seem ok.
Valle de Guadalupe is wonderful. Though the wine is nice and gets better almost every year, the real draw is the world class food at numerous restaurants. While the two top restaurants are exceptional, there are dozens of less heralded places that serve astoundingly good food. The south side of the valley is made up of more boutique wineries which we prefer. The staffs are nicer and more accommodating and their wines are more interesting. The north side is more commercial and bigger. Each Robert in the valley has their own wonderful ambience and character. It’s also close to Ensenada, Puerto Nuevo, Popotla and Rosarito which are worth day trips for some variety from drinking wines. They’re even craft beer, mezcal and tequila venues. We enjoy it so much we visit annually. It gets quite busy during spring and summer so plan ahead, make reservations and book early. Oh, and don’t try crossing the border back into the US on a weekend if you can help it. Recommended Restaurants: Animalon, Laja, Fauna, Bruma Wine Garden, Almatierra, Malva, Deckmans, Finca Altozano, Quercas, Cuarzo Recommended Wineries: Clos de Tres Cantos, Sol y Barro, Finca la Carrodilla, La Lomita, Vena Cava, Bruma, Don Tomas, Other: Tahona Baja mezcal, Bar Bura, Puerto Nuevo, Frida tequila Drive a truck if possible, get insurance. The roads are mostly dirt and bumpy, in the most charming way. Even though things seem close together it takes longer than expected to get from one winery to another. Make reservations to popular places.
Rooms in a separate building from house. Very clean and comfortable rooms with little sitting area on porch/balcony. Host was cordial, but very hands off. Breakfast was french toast, eggs and fruit salad! Very good value. The road is not paved and can get quite bumpy and had water holes in the rain. Yard has chickens that are amusing and well behaved, but the roosters are noisy which is true throughout the Valle de Guadaloupe. We enjoyed it!
The people here are incredible. Every vineyard, tasting room, restaurant, and experience we attended was personalize. Staff really felt invested in giving us the best experience. The hospitality was unmatched. The weather was incredible this time of year (dry, sunny, 75 in the day, 55 at night) and we avoided the summer crowds. Vineyards like Montefiori, Shedeh, Hacienda Guadalupe, and even Monte Xanic gave us a catered enotourism experience. Restaurants like Lunario are delivering the most exquisite high-end dining that could easily compete with fine restaurants I've dined at in New York, Madrid, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. But it's not just for the uppity customer - down-to-earth Mexican cooking and hospitality thrives at Dona Esthela and Hacienda Guadalupe. I live in Los Angeles and have easy access to flights to Napa, or a quick drive to Santa Barbara, but I easily choose the drive to Valle de Guadalupe for the experience.
For anyone visiting the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe, my biggest suggestion is to bring an SUV or truck due to the dirt roads. I had the inconvenience of bringing a small car which could barely handle all the bumps and dips in the road. I would not return without a truck, but other than that the wineries and service were a 10/10.
Valle de Guadalupe
The property was beautiful, set amongst lovely gardens, with plenty of areas to read and relax. Particular care was taken to display beautiful crafts as well as the owner's own paintings. I especially liked the care taken with regards to the environment; the owner provides mineral water to avoid the use of plastic and everything served is homemade. It is a very relaxing environment. The owner, Maria Teresa and the staff were very friendly and her recommendations for wineries, restaurants and craft stores were all exceptionally good.
Valle de Guadalupe
I really liked Siempre Valle. The rooms are big and comfortable, they have a little balcony with a fire pit and a nice view, and they offer water, coffee, and a bottle of wine as a courtesy. They also have a mini fridge with drinks and snacks you can buy. The hotel’s pool is nice and my favorite part was the fire pit they have outside where you can have a glass of wine and chill. Mario, who is in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful to us.
Property was beautiful and brand new - great design, excellent furnishing and extremely clean. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Location was strategic and easily accessible - not too far from Ensenada and within close driving distance of all the restaurants / wineries we wanted to visit in Valle. The staff was friendly and hospitable upon arrival and at every interaction. Would definitely stay here again!
We celebrated our honeymoon and didn't disappoint. Gorgeous views, phenomenal rooms, and wonderful staff. Very central to many wineries in the Valle, highly recommend. Next time, we would hire a driver though the hotel, their rates were great and they also offer one-stop transfers which is great if you are just having dinner at one spot for a night
Valle de Guadalupe
The house is super big! We enjoyed the outdoor grill as well as the kitchen which is fully equipped. The design of the house is amazing. Perfect place to travel with your family, group of friends and pets. Great value for Valle de Guadalupe. Very well located. Just a few minutes away from the main restaurants in Valle de Guadalupe.
The hotel was perfect. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable, with a huge, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful, and the breakfast was a highlight. We also really liked the staff who made an effort to make us feel welcome and to help with everything we asked for.
Lovely new property. Rooms were modern and fresh. The reception staff was great. We unfortunately got a flat tire, and she was able to help us translate with a local tire shop in Ensenada and found us a tire.
Valle de Guadalupe
The way the hotel interacts with nature and its surroundings is amazing. Incredible views, specially from the rooms' rooftop, overall well thought-out details and best hospitality ever.
