This secluded resort in Ixtapa Zihuatenejo is located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The resort offers 3 on-site restaurants, a bar, full-service spa and guest rooms with small, private pools. This hotel is amazing. The location was beautiful, the weather was perfect (we were there at the beginning of May) and the staff was beyond our expectations. I had read the reviews of this hotel and saw they were good but I was not expecting this level of greatness. You can tell the employees are happy because they go beyond the expectations to deliver first class service. We're definitely going back.

The hotels get everything. Restaurants outside the resorts are empty. Hotels need yo help the private bussiness offering less full plans, so more people shop and eay in town. Tje yown cannot grow because of the greedy big companies. They should offer at least one dinner outside as part of the all inclusive plan...
well overall ixtapa is beutiful my roo was very good one think we like the most the 55 inches tv in my room was great we eat outside cuz the food at this restaurant was very good breakfast and dinner at requila y salsa brava was the name of this place superb food and drinks the mango margaritas delicius also margaritas tortas torta is a mexican sandwich is call telera they open it and stuffing with diferent food de best ones are the pierna pork leg super good
It's a newish corporate construct, lots of mega resorts and chain hotels. The only fun parts are the older parts of Ixtapa, Ixtapa commercial areas where the locals can operate in Mexican style and Zihuatanejo, of which Ixtapa is essentially a suburb. The corporate stuff is so bland and American one might as well stay home.
The beach was beautiful. The staff, beverages and food made it all even better. Barceló had a few restaurants and they all had exceptional food. I was very surprised at the variety of drinks and premium liquor offered.
Loved my staying at Emporio Ixtapa, small, cozy and really cost-effective. Don't miss Barra de Potosí, have the tour to "Los morros" and the lagoon . Playa La Ropa is a must, clean, calm, and with plenty of water sports to try.
Please be careful where you stay, and keep all of your belongings with you. This place has many thieves, including the staff at the hotels, and that was per the actual police captain. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was just horrible, and my son's phone was stolen, we believe by the waiter, yet the hotel did NOT want to even make a report of the incident. It took 4 days for them to finally make the report and then the security guy attacked my son and snatched it out of his back pack to get the report back. It was not until the manager was finally called, that we actually got a decent report, but then 30 minutes later there were 3 suspicious people in our room searching for "inventory" when we were at the pool. We believe they were looking for the report due to the fact that the waiter was constantly by our side asking repeatedly if we needed anything and as soon as the phone went missing, he never came back to us, and we stayed there for at least another hour after the incident
The view was amazing and also for an all inclusive it was not over crowded. They only have rooms with balcony with a king size bed but they brought as another bed for the kids. The food was good and we enjoyed our stay for 3 days. Could get water in bottles the whole day and even a good coffee or hot chocolate. Still a little bit to expensive for what you get compared to other stays we had this vacation. We loved the calmness and the better food but it’s at a price.
Ixtapa
they have an all inclusive plan with a lot of options. the facilities are super clean and comfortable we are planning our wedding here, so that should be a good reference :) the only perk I found is that if you are vegan, you won’t find many options on the buffet, but you may order “a la carte”. so if you are vegan maybe the all inclusive plan may not be for you
No mosquitos present during our stay at Cala Views from the pool and rooms were exceptional Hiking on the beach, more like exploring tide pools versus an actual beach Very clean throughout the hotel For some odd reason, the layout, paint color and curved exterior walls and spiral stairs made me think of Star Wars
The BEST part and the ONLY part of our stay in this property was the moments of the engagement proposal and romantic dinner on the beach. FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS WE THANK ONLY THESE TWO PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS DAY SPECIAL. Eden Reynaldo Valdovinos Salto - Supervisor de restaurantes Gonzalo - mesero
The hotel is not in the hotel zone it is in a residential neighborhood. The outdoor spaces are nice for relaxing, the room was comfortable and we never heard people in adjacent rooms. We ate at the restaurant twice and it was adequate. We were very surprised at how nice it was for the price.
Excellent staff all around and wonderful cleaners. Great pools and very clean everywhere. The hotel is excellent value and like a real home away from home. I'll miss everyone and be sure to return soon! Thank you all for making me feel at home!
Ixtapa
A total disaster, honestly speaking is not worth to even try. The only thing we liked was the beach where the hotel is, and the employees from the main restaurant were nice, but the overall is terrible.
Ixtapa
Because of covid I asked if we could change my reservation they said no. Called several times would get the run around from the hotel (if they answered) and booking. Com. DON'T BOOK!!
Not much. Very busy lots of half finished drinks left by the pool and on the beach. Apartment was very utilitarian very poorly furnished Had to ask for wine glasses and shampoo
good location as right on the beach. waves quite big so swimming is not really possible. only if you are a good swimmer.
The apartment, the hotel buffet, the pools, the service, the views, the beach and the stores around the hotels.
we really enjoyed the beach. the hotel bar was very nice and the overall property was good.
The view of the ocean and the island is breathtaking. Our balcony was our favorite place.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Hotel very clean and service was good.
Nice simple All inclusive in a great area. Well run, nicely organised.
The beach...the hotel room we were upgraded to.
We were very pleased to have picked Pacífica for our special stay. Everything is at a distance but their shuttles pick you up within 5 mins and no tip required. Our rooms were picked up at no cost! 5 gallon water was in our apartment for our convenience. Air conditioning was awesome. Free laundromat. Snacks by the pool was awesome. We had a Great time.
it was a beautiful layout right next to the beach.
