I had the most amazing time at Rancho Espinoza. The owner Willy is really friendly and took time to show me around the village and brought me hiking. He also organizes a kayaking tour in the mangrove which is highly recommended. The house is very confortable and has everything you need to cook and feel like at home. It is also beautifully decorated. Also there are a lot of beautiful birds coming to drink water on the terrasse. I saw a humming bird several times.

it’s the distance between Los Cabos and the US border that makes The location good for us. We need a place to stay in between. We’ve been traveling for 40 years the same road. We have been staying in virtually every hotel… So we were pleasantly surprised when we stayed here for the first time.

The air-conditioning in my room did not work, but I also...

The air-conditioning in my room did not work, but I also never went to management to ask for another room, so I take blame for that. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic. The restaurant was nice and the Hamburger meal I got was very tasty. As long as the AC problem isn't prevalent throughout the other rooms, I would definitely recommend staying there.

I was passing through San Ignacio, both visits.

I was passing through San Ignacio, both visits. I plan to go back and tour the petroglyphs. Restaurants were very good as was the beer. Don't miss the garden at the cathedral. Native plants are labelled which I found very helpful
