Located in Tulum, 3.4 miles from Tulum Archeological Site, Hotel Bardo - Adults Only provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. I really don’t know where to start. We were staying at Bardo while our honey moon. From the service to the amenities It’s the best hotel Iv’e ever been to. It’s so beautiful everything, it smells so good, the service and the vibe of the people there is just amazing. The design is exquisite! The food in the restaurant is great and there are few options for vegans. We had small issue during the check in (which wasn’t an issue at all for us) and they went above and beyond to please us. We had such a great time there that we cancelled the all inclusive resort in Cancun that we booked for the last days of our honeymoon and we are going back to Bardo.

Casa Malca is located on an unspoiled beach in Tulum, on the edge of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. It offers a bar-restaurant, tropical gardens and stylish accommodations with air conditioning. Just WOW!

Located inside the Tulum Archaeological Site in Tulum, Hotel Poc Na Tulum features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi in the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I honestly cannot say a bad word about pocna... from the moment I stepped foot on the property I felt like home. The staff went above and beyond at every turn to make me feel welcome. They were so kind and helpful. Especially their concierge, he was fantastic. The property itself is like... heaven. I stayed in a jungle room and it was steps from the beach. It's sandy and in the jungle and wild. If you love that like I do.. you're going to love it here. It was so quiet and beautiful. I watched sunrise each morning and sat at their beach club just taking in their stunning beachfront. I thought the room was comfortable and well appointed. It's simple, but you have hot water, aircon and everything you could need. The food at the resto was yum. I will absolutely be back and recommending this place to all my friends.

Located in Tulum, a few steps from South Tulum Beach, Mamasan Treehouses & Cabins has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. From the moment I pulled up to Mamasan I felt like I arrived home or was visiting friends. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing less than perfect. I felt safe, comfortable and happy! The rooftop bar area is clean and relaxing, it’s nice to have a restaurant/bar on site. Mamasan is also within walking distance to a lot of popular spots like Taboo Beach Club, Aldo’s, Selina, Ziggy’s and the Ven a la luz statue to name a few. I stayed in the Bamboo suite and wish I had stayed longer than 2 days! It’s a loft style room and you climb up to the bed on a bamboo ladder so I thought maybe after 2 days I’d get tired of it but it was honestly no trouble for me at all, so I recommend staying 3 nights or more unless you’re really unable to manage climbing. The room was clean and absolutely beautiful. The view from the bed is gorgeous and I can’t explain how but the air conditioning works up there pretty well, so I was never hot and I had no issues with bugs. The staff have also been extremely helpful with recommendations if you’re looking for activities to do or rentals.

Located in the jungle side of Tulum, apart from the busy areas and into the quietness of the forest. Designed and built by young professionals inspired by the beauty of the surrounding nature. Una Vida is a wonderful place. Rooms are great size, we had a Private garden with chairs and hammock. The hotel is surrounded by forest, so it is really peaceful, but also really close to Tulum center. Great restaurant, with great food, and cocktails, and wonderful swimming pool next to it. You can use hotel bikes for free, which we used a lot when deciding to have food outside the hotel. Also there is a lot of options for food really close to the hotel.

Tulum Beach is nice ecstatically, you can comfortably rest here and it is nice once you stay in your beachfront but it is overinflated and overhyped. Remember you are never far away from commercialists only looking to get your money (incl police). In the hotels itself this is not a problem and people are nice there but the prices in my opinion are a bit over the top and you are much better of going to restaurants/bars in Tulum Pueblo than on the beach strip. Just take that into account. Don't come to Tulum if you are on a budget except if you are looking to do welness/spiritual activities which are more abundant here and excellent (yoga, temazcal, cacao ceremonies).
What I liked the most about the Copal was the great staff and the exceptional service. Also the restaurant had amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner! The location was not too far from the beach but also far enough to get away from the crowd on occasion. Perfect place for friends trips!
Tulum is a charming town that is definitely up and coming. Many new buildings are going up some of them will be high priced. I like the cenotes- got to swim in one and water was cool and refreshing. Highly recommend especially since the 2 beaches I went to had too much seaweeds from the recent hurricane. Travelling around town was good, I used the public mini-bi=us to get to the Mayan Ruins and was only 205 pesos each way from the hotel. Walking on the main strip was nice - lots of restaurants with different fare and not too expensive and lots to see and buy.
Tulum is the city under construction, rich and very very poor people on the other side, which serve to the rich. Construction workers can be seen how they live in poverty and almost outside in houses without walls. Her you can see a good example of capitalism and difference beetwen rich and poor, it was not a good experience, we did not like it. The nature is nice, but here you can not see much of it.
During my stay it rained a lot and there were lots of sargaço on the beaches, so I could'nt see the blue waters and this part I could'nt enjoy. Visiting the ruins and the Cenotes were a great experience, it was worth the trip.
Our stay at Hotelito Azul - Tulum started so well but we were robbed in our hotel room along with other guests. After reporting the theft to the police and making all the necessary arrangements, the hotel acknowledged the theft via a member of their cleaning staff. The general manager then promised to reimburse us as soon as possible (in a letter) and now refuses to reply. No further reaction from them, no compensation and a completely wasted holiday!
Tulum City Centre, Tulum
Good location in Tulum town, yet away from the noise.... Car rentals and supermarket was a 5min walk. Loved our room - spacious n clean. Nice common areas too, very boutique, simple and lovely design. Decent pool, garden and balcony. We reached the hotel at 1am and managed to check in without any trouble. Very friendly staff. (Thanks again). Convenient car park. Would definately stay here if i visit Tulum again. (And for us, staying in Town was way better than staying on the Beach Road)
Room was beautiful, clean and just by the beach. Breakfast options were sufficient and very tasty. Restaurant offers delicious food however very expensive. Worth to know if first time in Tulum: Hotel is located in the Nature Reserve. There are no restaurants around open till late. There are also no shops. Hotel doesn't allow to bring food or drinks. The only option to have a dinner is either at the hotel (expensive) or take a taxi to the hotel zone/city (about 15eur one way).
Great location in the middle of the hotel zone In Tulum! There is a lot of great restaurants and clubs nearby! The hotel is very clean and a super cute boutique. Its on the jungle vs the beach side but you're only across the street from beach access. I honestly preferred that because it dampens the noise so you can sleep better at night! I would definitely stay here again! The staff is also so wonderful and was super helpful with recommendations all through out my stay!
The hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. The hotel itself is small and cosy. The beach club gets quite busy but it is pleasant nonetheless and serves good food. The friendliness of the staff is amazing, they are really kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms themselves are not huge but they are comfortable, and anyway you spend most of the time outside in the porch. In terms of value for money it is hard to find better in Tulum beachside.
Everything was great, from the facilities to the food served. What really blew us out of the water was how friendly, prepared and polite the staff were. We had a short luxury stay at Mamasan but Dona, Alberto y Juan Carlos, the consierges en Mamasan managed to leave a long lasting positive impression on me and my wife. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a luxury stay at a reasonable price in one of the best parts of Mexico: Tulum.
Amazing boutique hotel¡ Service and accomodations were above my expectations¡ Location is amazing...close to Sian Kaan¡ The beach area is clean...no seaweed¡ Try the mexicanos tacos from the menú...best tacos in Tulum! Rooms are clean and tidy¡ Management is always making sure that you are having a great overall experience¡ Special hanks to Enrique (Pampers) amazing Walter in this hotel¡
This hotel was perfect! About 10 min taxi drive from the hotel zone of Tulum. The food is amazing, the pool area was awesome. The cafe Antoinette outside the hotel was good. It is located around a lot of restaurants. It’s not loud and the staff is GREAT! They are all nice and helpful. The room is cute too! I have no complaints and I’ll be back for sure. Thank you for such a great stay
This was one of my favorite hotel stays! I originally booked an Airbnb and then switched to this hotel and it was the best decision. The room was incredible and even had a private indoor pool and full kitchen. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant onsite had delicious passionate fruit drinks and yummy tacos. If you are in Tulum you should stay here!
This is a gem! The staff is soo friendly and professional and always ready to help! They made our stay even more enjoyable as it was! We loved the pool and the garden, where we spent a lot of time chilling and enjoying the sun. Also the hotel is very good located, 15-20 mins away from the beaches of Tulum by bike.
Gorgeous property. Felt like a luxurious escape after having stayed in the crazy hotel zone. I left my last hotel not wanting to come back to Tulum but Coco Hacienda changed my mind. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. This is truly such an amazing place and feels so safe for a female solo traveler.
Tulum City Centre, Tulum
Exactly as pictured. Modern, contemporary and clean. Lovely intimate hotel located right in the heart of downtown tulum, close to all the bars & restaurants. Great WiFi connection and felt very safe and secure. If I returned I’d stay here again without hesitation. Great value for money also.
The hotel is small but you fell like is 5 stars boutique hotel. Stuff is helpful, swimming pool is very nice, not huge but enough to cool down. Breakfast are on the roof, very cool views. Tulum is under constructions now. Noises are everywhere, even on the beach.
Fantastic hotel with fantastic rooms and great staff. Great access to the beach front with a lovely private area for hotel guests. Staff from the front of house through to the housekeepers were amazing and always lovely. A great property to stay at in Tulum.
Glamping at its finest. I found Tulum as a whole to be over crowded and overrated. Staying at Habitas was the best part of my trip - the hotel facilities, restaurant and staff are absolutely incredible. It made the whole trip for me - I didn’t want to leave.
Great location, great Tulum Vibe, friendly staff and affordable prices. Also have collaborations with other hotels (watch for great deals)
Nice hotel with amazing staff. Good size of the room, very well decorated. Close to Tulum beach (15 mins drive).
The room and especially the bed are amazing (how you would picture your honeymoon room to look like). We had an incredible ocean view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly. We also received fresh coffee and cookies in the morning. All we needed to do is to send a short message to the reception. The food (the risotto) is also very good. You can also do yoga classes in the morning.
It’s like to be in another world, completely distant from noise and caos, the atmosphere at Azulik is magic, in full contact with nature. Nothing is missing there, you can stay 2/3 days without going out from the property. Restaurants are very good and the beach club extremely relaxing. The sea-view villas are something incredible!!
Unlike any other I have stayed at. Lush vegetation, boudoir-like furniture, contemporary art. the private beach is a plus, the breakfast is yummy and the service top notch, from the front desk to the concierge to the rest of the staff. Just WOW!
Amazing staff, beautiful and private beach. Every meal was fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality.
