Tulum is perfect if you love fresh food, art, music, and real culture. We eat at Hartwood everytime, Cetli is out of this world and KitchenTable Tulum is an amazing experience. Don't miss the cenotes!
This’s my 4 th trip to Tulum The seaweeds are the big problem now 🤭 without them the beaches are mostly beautiful The shows in Xcaret are worth watching 👍👍👏👏 The good and cheap restaurant close to the hotel is 🐪 acros the street 👍
Tulum is amazing! The beach is stunning, the water is perfect and we didn't want to leave. We walked everywhere--either on the beach or the beach road--unless we were going to the ruins or cenotes, where a taxi was easy to grab. We had an amazing meal at Hartwood (duh) and started almost every day with a smoothie bowl from Raw Love. We went to Taqueria La Eufemia several times for the chill vibes and cheap and delicious tacos. On an overcast day we visited the ruins. On a day we were feeling adventurous we went for a cenote tour and snorkeled and swam and jumped into holes and learned. Highly recommended experience with Nick from Avatar Adventures. Getting to/from Tulum is always fun to try to figure out. We used Sea Breeze airport transfers with success. A beautiful adventure I wasn't ready to leave!
Definitely a new boho place. Lots of hipsters and youngsters walking around. Atmosphere is nice and ppl are kind. Def would recomment for a group trip. Beach bars, clubs, taco places are worth visiting. Historical sightseeing is also part of the trip you shouldnt miss. Its also very cool for active honeymoon.
Tulum is beautiful! I loved visiting the ruins and the beach, various cenotes and going to a beach party in the evening. For me one week was plenty, I think I could have spent a few less days and visited some other local areas (I heard a lot about Holbox and Bacalar) and have been just as happy!
Tulum is a great location to visit if you are an adventurist traveler. It's more of a glamorous-camping adventure. The town of Tulum is growing fast. I was there 3 years ago and it's changed a lot in that short time with several active construction sites while we visited this past Jan 2019. It's gotten more ( traffic) congested and more expensive now. There are lots of " designer" boutique shops now that sell dresses for $600 USD average. There are still deals to be made last minute as tourism there has been affected by current events happening in other parts of Mexico. We always felt safe, we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the drinks amazing, the people friendly and kind.

The location is terrific, right on the beach. The resort is well taken care of with hammocks throughout the property. The staff is friendly and there are always taxicabs waiting right outside of the hotel. There is a restaurant on site and it is within walking distance to other beach clubs, the Tulum ruins and a market with shops and restaurants. You can also rent bicycles on the property to ride around the area. The only drawback is that some of the roads are very narrow with limited or no sidewalks so being careful is a must.

Such friendly staff who went above and beyond in making it a comfortable stay. Lovely clean rooms and a perfect pool area with lots of lounging spots. An oasis to return to after a day of sightseeing! Bike rental was fairly reasonable and a good way to get around (it’s a 20-30 min cycle to the beach) but it was about 3 minute walk from the main town of tulum. Lovely rooms with a HUGE double bed and great breakfasts too. Really good value for money (especially compared to prices of hotels on the beach!). Would highly recommend

Habitas lived up to every expectation I had based on reviews and photos I had seen online. The hotel has certainly created the vibe you would expect in Tulum. The rooms are gorgeous down to every detail and we were so happy to have AC , the combination of the bed + AC was beyond expectations. The food at this hotel is incredible, I looked forward to my fresh pressed green juice and vegan toast every morning! Thank you Habitas for creating such a beautiful space to share with those looking to experience Tulums natural beauty!

We really liked this hotel, and Tulum, so much that we extended our stay for an extra night. Very nice setup with cute outdoor area and pool. Nice breakfast free of charge (toast/jam/coffee/juice/fruit/yoghurt) Nice, big, clean room with good a/c and wifi. Irma (the lady at the front desk) was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to go, she even drew a map to follow to find all the best cenotes with how much each costs etc!

I loved the location of Prana. We were able to ride our bikes provided by hotel in to town and was very close to the main highway and ride “el colectiovo” the staff was amazingly friendly I felt right at home. The food from their restaurant was delicious along with their drinks. Bartender was generous with the drinks and was so kind to treat us to a mezcal tasting. I cannot wait to go back to Tulum. Thank you prana for making us feel so welcomed.

Beautiful and quiet hotel with an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make your stay in Tulum the best. The rooms are big and comfortable and the whole property is designed in a magnificent way. The location is right in nature, away from the busy parts of the town or the beach strip. With the provided bikes you can get everywhere super quickly. All in all one of the best stays I have ever had in a hotel.

Small hotel but very clean, nice outdoor area to chill around the pool. Very convenient location, can easily get a taxi to any part of Tulum eg ruins, beach. Restaurant and bar strip is about 10 mins walk, supermarket and bank just over the road and La Coqueta is practically next door for tasty breakfasts. Staff are super helpful, and we were able to check in late at night with no issues after being delayed.

The lack of facilities can feel liberating for a few days, and Tunich can't do much to change the place's infrastructure (or the amount of seaweeds on Tulum's beaches). Tunich's employees are very sweet and give good advice on what to do, and the atmosphere is tranquil. The breakfast is included in the price and it's decent. If you are to stay in the hotel zone Tunich is a good choice!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, great chilled out vibe and great facilities. Very clean, would definitely recommend if you are going to Tulum. It was a little far out but the hotel provide free bikes so if you don’t mind a ride out to the beach (about 40 mins cycle) then everything else makes up for it and compared to the prices of the places on the beach it really was excellent.

The property is located at the entrance to Tulum and very close to the ruins. There is also an excellent Mexican restaurant located right next door to the property. The service was very friendly and informative. The room was extremely clean as well. The breakfast was nice but nothing special. The stay was well worth the price. We definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a great location if you want to be in the middle of the Tulum beach action. There are lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel is small and quiet. Air conditioning is available from 5 pm to 9 am and keeps the mosquitoes at bay. Drinking water is provided and coffee available at reception. Free parking next door.

The staff was beyond lovely. The place is totally cute and right next to the fanciest hotels, great restaurants and louche Tulum shops. You get a rustic, peaceful vibe, clean, lovely room, lots of nature and the same beach as the people paying out the nose next door. Pretty lanterns at night.
