RomaniaIt’s a unique experience, being a hacienda. So it wasn’t a classic hotel experience, which was great for us. The bathroom was something new also, with sky view. Big and clean room, nice furniture, great breakfast experience. The Hacienda is very close to the archeological site of Uxmal.

He recommend us a tour guide for Uxmal and we love this tour because it was very informative. All staff in hotel is friendly and helpful. We wish to stay a couple of days more in this wonderful hotel. A breakfast was amazing!!! Hope we to visit this place in future again.

GermanyThe Uxmal tren mayo hotel is hidden in the forrest about 5 miles from the mayan temples. The location middle in the forrest is very nice. The hotel has a nice open architecture, a bar and restaurant, billard, table tennis, table football and a gym. The outdoor pool was very nice and we had it all to ourselves.
We had dinner and it was very good.
The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful and made our stay perfect!

Czech RepublicThe house was excellent. Spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we slept perfectly.
The owner was outstanding—quick to respond, very helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.
The surroundings were calm and quiet, which made it a great place to rest and work. A standout feature was the fast, stable internet connection—something that’s surprisingly rare in Mexico. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site.
Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site. Lots of large sites to see and you can wander at your own pace. It was my favorite of the sites we visited on the trip. Tickets and entry could be clearer and signage at sites in Mexico is always lacking, but the quality of the ruins and architecture is fantastic. The scale, intimacy of the visit, and amount of ruins is superb.

To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns...
To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns and cenotes and more archeological sites I would recommend a week in Uxmal .
I loved every minute we were there .
I would also recommend having a much spending money as possible, not because things are expensive it is that there is so much to do and it will cost money .
Horse riding , vintage 4WD hire , the prices for the sites and tours has risen due to the pandemic .
Also supporting local artists .

The site is wonderful and the hotel was surrounded by...
The site is wonderful and the hotel was surrounded by orchards birds flowers amazing palms. A couple of small interesting local museums with animals local Mayan customs and chocolate cultivation. The Lodge restaurant which also belonged to the hacienda estate was a short walk and of a high standard.

We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food...
We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food needs due to ALS. A blender, two boxes of food and a cooler were graciously hauled to and from our room by the hotel staff. They could not have been more accommodating and helped to supplement her diet with fresh food from the kitchen.
It was my sister's fifth and probably final trip to the awe inspiring sites of the Yucatan. We are so grateful for the experience.

Location is excellent for exploring Uxmal (you can visit it in the morning while there are no tourists and watch a special night shows when regular tourists leave the place). The hotel itself is a kind of place to explore: authentic, with a lot of history. The staff is very helpful. They helped us with booking very interesting tours around Uxmal, we saw really cool Mayan places with a few / no other tourists there. Thank you!

The hotel is super atmospheric, it's very quiet and chill. We wanted to visit the Uxmal Archeological Zone first in the morning and for that it's perfect - 5 mins walk. We had the ruins for us, no one else was there at 8 am - and that was priceless. Good price.
