I absolutely loved my stay here, Fernando is amazing and I felt instantly welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean, the beach area is gorgeous and the complimentary coffee each morning was a lovely addition. It's a quick walk into the main square, and Fernando has loads of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Only wish I could have stayed longer!

The beach club was very nice. The staff was friendly and overall we had a great experience. We booked a full body massage and it was private in our room. The beach itself is very nice. The drinks and food are bit expensive.

Wonderful beachside cabana with beautiful views, quiet location but very accessible to town and restaurants. Rodrigo was a fantastic and attentive host , speaks good English and went above and beyond to help us with our needs. Spacious living room, fully equipped kitchenette, and comfortable bed. A humongous tv, good WiFi, and extra niceties like coffee, wine, and bottled water. Even a jetted tub and the best shower I’ve experienced in years!

Our stay at Playa 55 in Celestún was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and spotless, and the private beach access is spectacular—just a few steps from the rooms, which makes the experience even more special. Jess and Nicolás are outstanding hosts. They were in constant communication and always attentive to any needs we had. Before our arrival, they shared all the important information with us via WhatsApp, which made everything very easy and smooth. One night we had a stomach ache, and they kindly provided us with medicine and checked on us to make sure we were okay. Their level of care truly made a difference. The pool is also very clean and beautiful, and the terrace is a spacious and perfect place to enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. For breakfast, the Peter Pan restaurant is excellent and located only about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. For lunch and dinner, there are several good options within a 10–15 minute walk (our favorite were La Palapa and Pampanos), and you can even walk there along the beach, which makes it even nicer. Celestún is a wonderful place to relax—the people are friendly and trustworthy, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. We will definitely come back and stay at Playa 55 again.
