Great place to explore and get about. Grab here and there with ease. A small place but so many activities to take part in. We visitd all the recoomended attractions mentioned and really enjoyed the fun. Ate food recommended and it was good as recommended. Ate durians from old durian trees from " liu lian shan" and really yummy. The little fishing village is so beautiful and seafood is really fresh.

I like the non halal hotels eg Cititel best in Malaysia.
I like the non halal hotels eg Cititel best in Malaysia. Shall visit Penang often. Plenty of good food at reasonable prices, specially durian. Penang government should instruct airport authority to allow vaccum packed durian to be checked in. Great encouragement to tourism.

We really enjoyed the unusual museums like Wonderfood and the 3D ones. The town is busy but nothing like KL. The streets are clean. The people are friendly. Hired a car and drove around the island with not problems. Penang Hill and going up with the cable is worthwhile and spend so time here. The view from the Bellevue is lovely. Also a nice experience is to go to the Top observation deck especially just before sunset.

It is indeed a UNESCO place that the houses look poor outside but the inside of the houses is quite modern. The area feels very safe. The weather here is quite humid which makes one feel hotter than usual even the temperature is around 31 degree celsius. George Town is very walkable and great for sightseeing.

THE HISTORIC HOUSES WERE ENCHANTING.
THE HISTORIC HOUSES WERE ENCHANTING. WE ENJOYED DINNING IN THE OPEN AREAS WITH THE LOCALS. USED CHEAP GRAB TO GET AROUND. VERY HOT IN DAY WHICH MAKES WALKING UNPLEASANT. BEST TO WALK IN THE EVENINGS. FINDING MONEY EXCHANGES IS DIFFICULT. GET SOME MONEY AT THE AIRPORT EXCHANGE.

George Town has a lot to offer.
George Town has a lot to offer. The private Peranakan museum was the definite highlight. Finding the fabled street art was difficult and there were no umbrellas I could see on Armenian street. Everything was a little messier/tattier than you would find in, say, Vietnam or Siem Reap. Needs a tourist guru to go through the old down and persuade business people to ratchet things up a notch in terms of appropriate tourist fare and presentation - a bit drab and unexciting. The Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi Clan house is fantastic. The new video on repeat play is both funny and informative. Well done to them - the rest of George Town old town can learn from the way they have updated their offering. The Clan Quays were also really nice - but again, the retail offerings could be upgraded, although they were better quality than the main town.
Very good location, easy to access everywhere around George Town.
Strong air conditioning which is great in this hot and humid weather.
Big room, big shower room, big sized bed and 2 toilets!
Very nice staff and great hospitality.
We were going to use laundry service by hotel but it was not good timing for us(They use laundry service with third party so need to give them before 5pm-6pm and will get cloths back next day afternoon). There is a laundry place behind hotel and looks new and easy to use.
Everything. It was great. Very spacious, very comfortable. A lot of amenities at the property. AMAZING breakfast buffet and really good food options at the whole hotel. A bit on the more expensive side of George Town but worth it.
The free canapés and cocktails from 6-7pm was also great. All in all this was an amazing hotel, great staff and amazing venue.
This is an exceptional hotel to stay in, it has character, fantastic location & very helpful staff. We lovely the old furniture & the room we stayed in had a great dress view & was massive. It's great valu for money & we should of stayed there longer & not gone & stayed in George Town as it was much better here.
