Marang is an underated place in Terengganu. Tt is actually the heart of Terengganu. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. a beach, an island, local foods, beachfront accommodation and most importantly, away from hustle bustle of a big city. Kuala Terengganu is not so far away if you need city vibes. Within Marang, there are local supermarket, fast food outlets, pharmacies and banks.

Love the seaview ,calm ,quiet place and you can spend all day at that place. you can find variety foods because it's near to town and also you can drive to Kuala Trengganu town ,it's take only 20 to 30 minutes. The Majlis perbandaran, local leaders, authorities should do more to touch up the scenic advantage - clear rubbish, more organized food/recreation centres, etc. i wonder if the local homestay/chalet owners have a society or club to self improve the tourism industry at Marang?SabkiMalaysia - 8.0

(During our stay) 3) Good and delicious Nasi dagang nearby. 4) The price of BBQ seafood is reasonable and it is fresh. 5) Seldom heard of friends going to Marang for holiday even though it is near to The Kapas Island which is a nice island for diving and snorkeling. I would suggest the authority to strongly promote this place as a tourist attraction in Terengganu

it's a quite and nice place.. if you like don't like a cramp place, this definitely a great option for you. the clear ocean gave us a great snorkelling experience. there are also a lot of restaurant that you could choose with a good value of money.

But won’t really suggest if you don’t have car since not exactly by roadside. and you will need to cross the main road to see the beach. room was comfortable and clean although a bit old and small. but for the price you are paying, it’s good enough to rest for the night. they even provide seating area outside chalet to relax and small pool.
