The room was comfortable and offered such a nice view over the canal. The adjacent restaurant had an excellent breakfast and offered a great menu for lunch and dinner! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind…they truly went out of their way to serve me and others.

This was an amazing stay, the outside pod cabins are super nice and the view is out of this world! The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast is awesome, all local and home made products, they even requested halal meat for us from the supplier which was so considerate of them. We loved out stay there.

We loved the quiet and picturesque location, on a dike overlooking an open field. The host was lovely and kindly advised us what we could do in the neighbourhood. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast, served in the room, was very tasty and sufficient. We will try to return soon to this lovely accommodation!

Such loving care has been spent putting this 1970s apartment together! We really enjoyed the antique burnt orange details in the kitchen. The tableware, cutlery, and dishes are exactly 70s. We (carefully) enjoyed playing the Diana Ross LP on the turntable. The wallpaper is stunning. The period seating is very comfortable, with a snuggly blanket included. We opened the windows and let the fall sun stream in: Black Frisian horses and some sheep graze outside.
