The room has everything you need for an easy and comfortable stay. Quiet surroundings, conveniently close to the train station but you don’t hear it. Easy to access at night. The bathroom is shared but you also don’t feel it, as it is a single shower and you can lock the door behind you. It felt like staying in someone’s house, very welcoming and cosy!

Very nice people, who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They let me check in 2 hours early, and lend me their bike for the afternoon/evening. Room was great and clean.

This accommodation places in a nice middle class suburbian area. You can rent bicycles in there, which makes it a lot much more easier and accessible to move around and get groceries and the other. They have a nice reserve park more or less behind the property where you can get away to avoid people. You can cycle to Utrecht in somewhat short time if cycling is your thing. Otherwise you can take bus or train. Altough there's like around 1 km to the train station from the property. Overall, if you like nature, you'll enjoy the area. The host is very nice and gives a lot of suggestions and guides if need be. Apartment itself is spacious, your living quarters are on the top (third floor) and one of the stairs are famous dutch stairs. But don't worry, you'll get used to them. And you kinda need to walk through the apartment's hallways in order to get there. Overall clean and decent, very comfy super soft bed. Decently equipped kitchen so you'll be able to most likely wrap up a meal for yourself. The bathroom is pretty nice and spacious. The house itself is tad old, so expect creaky doors and floors and a bit of an antique furniture here in there, which brings it a little bit of an old summer house charm. However, house, like majority of all houses in that area are next to a pretty busy road, so sleeping (especially on weekends) can be a bit turbulent, especially if you are used to complete silence. However, if you're one of sleeping like a log people, you will have absolutely no problems. And either you get used to the constant traffic. There's a pleasant, well taken care of garden with a pond, around which you could chill while drinking tea or just sunbath. Overall, I'd summ it to the person that you are. If you're an introvert or have human anxiety and running into host sometimes might give you anxiety, then maybe this ain't for you. If you're an extrovert or ambivert, I'd recommend to give this a try.
