Nice and cozy room with a breathtaking view on a church. The way to the room is a journet in itself! The various receptionists I met during my stay were all welcoming and top notch professionals.

Delft is a great staging point for day trips to the Hague, Rotterdam, Haarlem, and many other wonderful destinations. The center of Delft is compact, and although bus and tram transportation is available, we walked everywhere as this was so pleasant. A canal tour is recommended. In addition to the major tourism sites, we recommend a walk through the university area near the Royal Delft center. Modern Delft is in large part a college town, with one of the largest and best-respected technical and engineering schools in Europe. The university has a number of impressive modern buildings, the most notable of these being the university library. A trip up the New Church tower should be a part of any visit to Delft.
They call Delft "little Amsterdam", a lot of canals, but more cosy. A more relaxed athmosphere then the very crowded and expensive Amsterdam. Good restaurants, plenty of nice bars, including a terrace.
Delft is a lovely destination. Small enough to wander around without getting tired. Great shopping destination, many nice restaurants and cafes. Lively nightlife and plenty of art. Close to Rotterdam and The Hague.
If you are interested in history, or just beautiful surroundings, Delft is the place to be. The canals are interacting all over the city. The historic city center is not that big and there is walking distance to everything you need. Interesting museums, views, and restaurants.
came over to Holland just before the virus outbreak got serious . had a good stay in Haarlem , but by the time I arrived in Delft the situation got very real quick . only had a day or so before cafes , restaurants , museums , most shops closed up . scary to see , had to pack up and try to make it back over to the US abruptly .
Delft is romantic, historic town with beautiful architecture. The Canals are lined with charming little historic buildings, that have their own individual note. A must-see are the two main churches Oude and Niew Kerk. Entrance of EUR 4.50 is for both churches and the tower in the Niew Kerk costs extra, but it is worth the climb (ca. 370 steps) to take in the breathtaking views from the top. There are plenty of cozy restaurants located throughout the town. The nice thing: I arrived on a Sunday, and, not like their neighboring country Germany where the sidewalks literally "roll up" from Saturday afternoon untill Monday morning, I was able to go food shopping. What a delight !!! I love the Dutch friendly and easy-going mentality, too.
This hotel had wonderful welcoming staff that prepared everything for us to make our stay more comfortable. The room had comfy beds and for the big bed you could move the bed up and down to suit your sleeping habits. This hotel was very close to the center of Delft and you could easily walk around. The hotel had a nice breakfast and opened nice and early so you could get an early breakfast if you were an early bird like me. Nice hotel and I recommend staying there.
Loved the personal and friendly staff! Very welcoming, great room and will definitely come again, only thing less convenient was parking. Not available close by and first garage at couple minutes walk was very expensive! Hope surroundings areas of the hotel, that are still in building mode, will provide parking availability in the future. Next time we will come by train!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Julia during our recent trip to Delft. The hotel had clean, attractive reception and dining areas; our room was spacious, well-appointed and included a comfortable living area with sofa and dinette. Excellent accommodations a short walk to the town center -- would definitely stay again.
Delft
Location and its beauty is clearly apparent. It is a balanced living with nature in a place with great history and attractions (museums, churches, old structures and houses, great restaurants especially Cade de Mudi beside it). Delft is definitely a great place to stay in.
Position of the hotel is very good, in the centre, but still pretty quiet. The hotel is little bit older, which can be seen on the equipment, but still nice. Personell was very nice and kind. Breakfast was really nice (eggs, bacon, cereals, pastry, ....).
Quiet location in the outskirts of Delft. The hotel has a free parking, nice restaurant and good breakfast. Remember that you will need a car or taxi to get yourself downtown. Good inexpensive alternative if you are visiting Den Haag too.
Lovely hotel in de city center of Delft next to Beestenmarkt. The hotel is clean, staff friendly and breakfast tasty. Overall very much enjoyed my stay. One minor complaint is that the ironing board was broken.
Superb new hotel - not fully open yet - in the old Delft arsenal. Beautiful conversion retaining original brickwork and beams. Lovely room. Nice dining and bar area. Very friendly helpful staff. Good location
This is a charming hotel on one of the beautiful canals in Delft. Our room was large and comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, but there are many restaurants nearby.
Wonderful hosts, super nice authentic Hotel with a very good dutch and scottish kittchen. You feel very welcome and it gives you a perfect cultural experience in Delft.
The hotel was new and very clean. The location was perfect. Next to the railway station and a 10 minute walk from the center of Delft. Breakfast was also good.
We all liked the coffeemaker, the bed, and the shower. Overall, great location and great room. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
The view from our room was spectacular! Kiddies corner. Delft has a TukTuk service that stops at the hotel.
De luxe room is spacious Spacious car park right next to hotel €18 / 24 hrs Location: city centre
Very friendly staff who were always smiling and ready to help. Sweet family hotel :)
