Op 't Oorbeck is a historic family farm which was first mentioned in records during 1338. The farm is situated on the edge of a forest in rural Twekkelo, just 6 km from Enschede centre. After a long bicycle ride, at dusk, in the middle of the woods of Southeast Overijssel we were surprised to see this attractive farm building at the side of the road. The barn has been perfectly renovated with a cosy and spacious central lobby. Very attractive interior. On the side are the rooms which are well decorated and very comfortable. Good showers and good beds. It all looks as if everything is brand-new. A nice extra is the Chinese porcelain objects that are displayed in this B&B. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and tasty. You can open the back door of your room and sit outside or have a stroll in the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles can be safely stored in one of the buildings. The city of Enschede is really nearby.
