Martini Hotel Centre is situated in a monumental building and lies in the city centre of Groningen. The Grote Markt and many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The Martini Hotel is a jewel in Groningen. We enjoyed everything that the hotel has to offer despite having a tiny bathroom. Perfect location. Close to many restaurants and supermarket. This charming hotel with a 1930’s flair on the first floor is super close to their main street (city center) on your left across the street and the Martini Tower is located on the right across the street. Their main street has many stores and again places to eat. Remember to try their “poffertjes,” (tiny pancakes) and ice cream. We enjoyed “the smurfs” ( blue ice cream and mango flavor). You will see the white stand that looks Ike a van, as soon you arrived in the Main Street ( city center).

This design hotel offers newly renovated and elegant rooms and is situated directly to the Hoornsemeer. It includes an heated indoor swimming pool and a spacious garden. Room very big and clean. Breakfast very tasty .

Situated in Groningen, 2.8 km from Simplon Music Venue, Leonardo Hotel Groningen provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and concierge services. It was a pleasant surprise to be chosen guest-of-the day, and receive a room upgrade and complementary drinks in the bar! Facilities were excellent, staff ultra-friendly and -helpful. Beds were firm and supporting. Breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious: great value.

Mercure Hotel Groningen is next to the Martiniplaza event centre, just off the A7 highway. It features an on site restaurant, terrace, and private parking facilities. Spacious rooms with a splendid view. The staff were helpful when checking in. Nice inside restaurant and bar which is really convenient.

Bastion Hotel Groningen is located on the A7 motorway and affords easy access to the city centre, Martini Plaza and the university by car or public transport. Great staff at the front desk! Good choices for breakfast.

Hotel De Doelen is located at the foot of the Martini tower, in a beautiful monumental building. The hotel offers modern facilities and free Wi-Fi. The Hotel is beautiful antique, bedroom is comfortable and has a really nice bathroom. The staff is very kind and helpful, plus the food was delicious. Due corona, they are not allowed to serve you in the restaurant but they bring the food to your room. You can have a coffee or tea in the lobby. its very cozy. Oh! and perfect location.
