Located in Zwanenburg, within 6.9 miles of Anne Frank House and 7.2 miles of Royal Palace Amsterdam, Style Gardenhouse near AMSTERDAM, HAARLEM, ZANDVOORT has accommodations with a garden and a... We had a wonderful stay at the garden house. Hosts were great, they allowed us to check in early due to our flight being in the morning, were very helpful with everything and never disturbed us even for a moment, they certainly know what is to be a host in Amsterdam. The neighborhood is lovely and very quite (the noise from the planes did not disturb us at all) and in just 10 minutes we were at the central station which allowed us to have more time exploring Amsterdam but in the same time to have nice and quite evening away from the big crowd. Will definitely stay here again when given the chance

Hotel Zwanenburg is located 15 minutes away by car from Schiphol Airport. It also features free on-site secure parking and an on-site a bar where guests can enjoy several drinks. The receptionist guy was very welcoming. He gave me a room that’s more comfortable than the one I booked and gave me a free shuttle ride for the airport even though I had plans to use public transport. The stay left a fantastic impression!
There is not much at all in Halfweg town in terms of bars and restaurants, but it is easy to jump on the train to Harleem, Zandvoort or Amsterdam Central. Droompark is nice, I really loved the greenery, the woods, lakes and the peacefulness of the park and I would stay again.
Halfweg itself is a small village, with not much to it. The location is literally halfway between Haarlem and Amsterdam though and the surroundings are nice for cycling and walking. The location close to Schiphol is convenient, but also source of lots of noise pollution from the planes.
Stayed here whilst on a work trip in Amsterdam and loved the relaxed vibe at the end of each day. Plus we could park our van beside the accommodation. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station which went regularly into Amsterdam Central and Haarlem.
Halfweg is a lovely town, its name, which translates as "halfway," comes from its location approximately halfway between Haarlem and Amsterdam (proxy. 8 km (5.0 mi). Very quite and accessible., with very nice people. There are supermarket's where you can shop at very good price. There are trains running from 15 to 15 minutes, going to Amsterdam, Haarlen, Den Haag, Rotterdam , etc.
We really liked the general vibe of the resort - very holiday like and made us feel very at home and relaxed however the showering facilities and the beds within the cabin were disappointing and not comfortable. We also found that the shop and resort in general was very expensive through added costs but for the price we paid only for the accommodation it was good value. The shop on site was extremely disappointing for a site which claims to be self catering and with the location being isolated you’d expect there to be more on offer - we found it very difficult to make a “meal” out of what they had. The wait in the lobby was very unpredictable - the staff were doing to many things the shop should be separate from the checking in desk.
Very good location if you want to do a "star" trip. Also good for an Amsterdam only visit, but.do note you would need to have a car to get to the train station or be willing to take a long bicycle ride.
Very clean hotel with free parking. Quiet location just 10' walk from the train station and 15' (2 stops) from Amsterdam Central station. Very good internet and kind and helpful staff. The breakfast had the basics and the best thing was that you paid for it on the spot (if you wanted to eat you paid 10 euros per person, if you didn't want nothing). The location was also good for driving to the villages of Voledam, Edam, Marken and Zaadam.
we had to take another hotel for the first day because this property had only early check in ,t'ill 1500pm,we landed around 1800pm , their option for late check in was to pay 500euro deposit that should be refunded 14 days nice woods and forestst around the property
