The apartment was nicely decorated and the kitchen well appointed, while the bathroom was super roomy. The most wonderful thing about this place is that it is situated in the countryside - the living area has the most wonderful view over trees and fields - yet only less than 10 minutes driving away from the charming old walled little city Hulst. Furthermore, the hostess, Jacqueline, was super friendly: I arrived on my birthday and when I came back at night, a little surprise gift of aromatic teas was waiting for me on the doorstep!

The hosts, Petra and Marc, are amazing people. So friendly and thoughtful. Our stay was nothing short of luxurious. The high-speed Internet and efficient AC were a boon, especially during the warmer nights. Within 5 min walk, you have a supermarket, restaurant, pub, snackbar and a Belgium baker with a lot of great breads.
