Hotel Orion is located on the picturesque island of Kaag, which can be reached within 4 minutes by ferry. The ferry departs every 5 minutes, day and night. We liked the peace & quiet. The hotel was nice & the rooms were clean. But most of all we liked the owners & their Son! From day one, they were very friendly & very helpful.
Located in Kaag, De Kaagse Boer provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Kaag is a little island in the Netherlands. It seems like a lovely place in summer for sailing and being out on the water. We visited in the winter because it was en route from one place to another. The entire island was as charming as could be.
This bed and breakfast offers rooms with English country-style décor and picturesque views in a peaceful setting, 2.2 mi from Lisse. Zonnehoed includes free Wi-Fi and a landscaped garden. Our host went out of his way to help us have a great stay. After traveling in from the US and moving right on to a full day of sight-seeing we were really tired when we arrived at 9:30. He showed us to our room and made sure we were set for the night. Asked about what time we wanted breakfast and then was out. The room was large, the bathroom was warm and clean and the room was bright.

Kitty"s Chalet Modern en toch knus is located in Warmond. Offering free WiFi, the property also has free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. Facilities were exceptional even a washing machine and drier. Kitty was a very warm hearted host. The chalet location couldn't have been better with a nice garden .,but for us as tourist visitors it was close to the station and with frequent fast Dutch trains we were able to visit the capital city, Delft, Leiden and Gouda during the week we stayed. (parking is very expensive in southern Holland at 3Euros an hour) I have to say that the 3 locations we chose from you were the best yet.
Kaag is a very quaint and quiet island. We dined twice at De Twee Wilgen and had a wonderful experience both times! They offer a 5-course surprise menu for 29 euros. On the first night none of the 5 courses included soup or salad - duck, mussels, shrimp, venison...The service is great! We loved it so much the first night that we ended our trip to Kaag at the same restaurant with the surprise menu again. We look forward to returning to Kaag during warmer weather when we understand many people sail and camp around the island.

Our stay was simply incredible. We were amazed with the island. The hotel was very very nice, the owner was super friendly, the local cheese was delicious. We were so happy about our dinner with the local restaurant and with how we were welcomed on the island. It is truly a magical place. We would definitely like to go back there once again.
