My husband and I were traveling around Friesland with our teen-aged granddaughter, and we had stayed at this Inn many years ago, so we went back. It has changed hands since then, and it is still charming. The new owner is friendly and helpful. It's just a short drive to Balsward, where we went for dinner, and an easy trip to Sneek the next morning. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip. Our rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable and offered such a nice view over the canal. The adjacent restaurant had an excellent breakfast and offered a great menu for lunch and dinner! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind…they truly went out of their way to serve me and others.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building with wonderfully modern and upgraded rooms. The incredible location is central to every thing and I loved the fact that you can easily walk around to find what you want. I will stay here again! Just a note, to check in you have to walk just down the way to check in at another hotel, super easy and staff was really kind.

The best aspects are the location (right on Harlingen's North Harbor) and the restaurant, with its breakfast. We also ate a dinner there and it was excellent.

Owner / Manager was absolutely tremendous. So friendly , helpful and effervescent. Appeared to really enjoy her profession . Of all the great things about the hotel - she was the greatest thing . Hotel is small , definitely old but shows the influence of care and concern for quality . Our room was large and had multiple windows for light but only one could be opened and might be a problem when hot outside . There was a fan in the room for such an occasion . Lunch was available at the hotel until 5 the day we were there .

Lovely, quaint little hotel in a small Dutch village. It felt more like staying with friends than staying in a hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the kitchen downstairs had a relaxed feel to it. Easy to make yourself at home.

A lovely small hotel in the village of Kimsweed. The ground floor is a very welcoming restaurant with a nice outside space. The dinner was very good as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was cozy and the staff was really friendly. We travelled with a 3 year old kid and the staff prepared a kids themed small bed , and put in the room a few toys , what was really nice of them.
