In the heart of a beautiful nature area in Limburg, near the German border, is a 16th century farm house. This hotel features free WiFi. Such a amazing hotel. Great relaxing environment, the rooms were magnificent and super clean. Breakfast delicious and great surroundings.
This camping is located on the edge of a forest, just 1148 foot from the German border. De Watertoren offers well-equipped chalets with a terrace and kitchen. I liked the goats and the pool. Also the shower was really nice. Also the shower and toilet being separate was amazing. Furthermore, the location of the camping was beautiful. It was also fun to stay here with friends.
Vakantiehuis Limburg - Landgraaf is a self-catering accommodations with a garden located 984 feet from the German border. Free WiFi access is available. We were a party of three (very senior!) adults on a short trip to use SnowWorld in Landgraaf in November 21 We found that the apartment was “quaint” and interesting in its location up the (steep) steps in the courtyard to the door and then further steep steps up to get into the apartment "proper". It was perfectly adequate for our needs and close enough for us to the SnowWorld centre. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and provided you are OK with the steps described, would recommend it. (The steps were OK for us wrinklys’!) The journey back and forth to the Snow Centre was not only quick and easy, the daily journey’s made the overall trip much more pleasurable for us, being less insular than a choice we could have made to stay “overnight in the Snow World hotel. We had excellent communication with the apartment’s owner throughout. One mild criticism from our female companion was the lack of adequate mirrors! (There was only one in the shower room). It is perhaps interesting that us fellas’s, with significantly less hair, did not find this a problem! The kitchen in the apartment would be fine and easy to use if you planned to self-cater. However, we had planned to eat very locally in the evenings, but due to a renewed Netherlands lock down found the café d’r Eck (200 M from the apartment) closed. So, we had to be more inventive and as a result found and had great evening meals in The Robin Grillhause Heerlener Str. 127, 52531 Ubach-Palenberg, Germany, which was only a few (4 K, 5 mins) from the apartment. The very friendly staff were very tolerant of our significant lack of ability in European languages! I would be very happy to stay and enjoy the apartment again when we return on a future trip. Local parking was not a problem. Make sure your Sat Nav is up to the task of working in Europe.
Located 4.2 miles from Snowworld, Loods 123 bed & kitchen provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Nice cosy setting felt like a great cute getaway. Everything was clean, towels and bathrobes were nice soft with a nice scent. Bed was ultra comfy! Hosts were uber friendly and put in the extra effort to welcome us with a valentines gift and decoration inside.
Located in Eygelshoven-Kerkrade at only 1.2 mi from the German border and a 10-minute car drive from the German city Herzogenrath, Pension Art Galerie offers several room types with free Wi-Fi access.... The owner was very friendly and even went the extra mile by being our tour guide in Germany, which helped allot, as none of us could speak German. She suggested and accompanied us on an amazing boat trip.
If your still looking for the ski experience after coming back from a ski resort holiday then this is the place. Spacious pistes, not crowded and a haven for snowboarding. Easy drive experience to Landgraaf from Calais with no tolls all the way and plenty of service stations along the route for that comfort break. Definitely will return for a ski fix and a break away.
Snow world is great! Even if you can’t ski it’s amazing to sit in the bar at the bottom of all of the slopes and watch everyone coming down towards you. The bar is nice and warm with plenty of seating. The drinks are reasonably priced and you get served quickly and the food is good. There is a set of stairs next to snow world that have 507 steps! It’s well worth the climb to the top for the amazing view you get right out into Germany. We went to a small shopping centre nearby which has local foods, beers and convenience stores where we bought flugel and waffels to take home. We did a day trip to Maastricht which was great for food and shopping (and the occasional beer!). We rented a van as a large group and drove everywhere but the city has a train station and airport relatively nearby. We also played glow golf at a nearby entertainment complex which I would highly recommend. It was 18 holes and a real laugh! We were a group of 9 and it was quiet enough for us to go round without causing a queue.
This hotel lives and attract customers due to the nice pictures of the exterior: the lake, the terrasse overlooking the lake, the little forest next to the lake, in short, the surroundings and the building from the outside all look beautiful, even very beautiful. But, while that's very good, it's not enough to make your stay nice and pleasant.
The hotel is an adorable farm like place! Nice seating areas in the center, rooms are nicely styled! Like that there are tons of walking paths and very close to Ski world!
It is the best place for our family. Our stay at SnowWorld Hotel is the best place to be, sincerely.
