Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Boutique Hotel d'Oude Morsch offers accommodations in Leiden, 656 feet from Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde. The property is located 3 minutes from the center. This is a fantastic boutique hotel. It is a completely renovated old military Barrack that has been modernized in the most fantastic way. We loved the touches of military decor along with copper lighting throughout the hotel and rooms. We stayed in superior deluxe rooms and found the rooms spacious. The beds were the most comfortable in a two week vacation and the shower is well equipped with a rain shower. Location is very easy for drivers with a nearby parking garage and within easy walking distance to Leiden center. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly. We really appreciated the dog treats and blanket for our little guy...and all the tips on Leiden they shared. Breakfast is also worth the extra price. A gem of a hotel!
ExLibris Boutique Hotel offers accommodations in the historic center of Leiden, in the Pieters district. A variety of museums and city sights can be found at the doorstep. Everything is newly built, super clean and the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Will stay again if back in Leiden.
Located in Leiden, within a 16-minute walk of Leidse Schouwburg and 1.7 miles of Naturalis, Boutique Hotel Steenhof Suites has accommodations with free WiFi. Perfect location, cozy room and amazing staff! We enjoyed every second of our stay and we plan to go back.
De Barones van Leyden is a boutique hotel set in the historic center of Leiden, right next to the Oude Singel canal and the Port of Leyden. Decoration. Cleanliness. Staffs are helpful. Quiet. If you wish to find a quiet hotel where you can take a rest, this is the place for you. The decorations will make you feel you are back to 16, 17 centuries. You would feel you are a king of the place.
Huys van Leyden is an intimate boutique hotel set in the historic center of Leiden, right next to the Oude Singel canal. Free use of the spa and sauna is offered. Bed was very comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in early and allowed us to keep our car securely parked even after check out as they had a parking space free. The Wellness Suite was very good and clean.
Leiden ibis lies right next to the Central Station and just 984 feet from the historical Leiden center city and 6.2 mi from Keukenhof. Our experience was fantastic. We were in town for our dughter"s wedding this past Saturday. The staff discovered it was also our 41st wedding anniversery and surprised us with a beautiful card and 2 champagne glasses and prosecco with their congratulations. Staff here goes above and beyond to make your stay here comfortable. The breakfast was great, wide variety of food. A very clean hotel, but it was the outstanding staff that is most impressive. You can't find a better Ibis! I've styed at one in Amstedam and Edinburgh and this one is #1 in my book. Will definitely return here in the future.

Leiden is a beautiful place to visit and a perfect place to discover on foot. It’s full of history and even has poetry, in all languages, written on its walls. The Hortus, original botanic garden belonging to the university, is a haven of peace and natural beauty. There are lots of quaint cafes, a wonderful cinema, Trianon, and endless nice restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere. If you have an interest in Japan then don’t miss the Sieboldhuis on the Rapenburg (one of the most famous streets in The Netherlands). It was the birthplace and a great source of inspiration for Rembrandt and other famous artists.
Leiden is a nice alternative to the madhouse that is Amsterdam. It's only 20 minutes by train from Schiphol airport and the town has that old Dutch feel without all the turmoil of the capital. Canals, windmills, a shopping centrum, easy proximity to the rail station, a friendly and helpful VVV tourist office nearby. It is a very pleasant place to walk and sightsee. The Golden Tulip hotel is a five minute walk from the Leiden Centraal stations and the rates for a four star hotel are much preferable to those in Amsterdam.
Leiden is a beautiful, charming city! Loved going to the Christmas Market. I found an ornament to add to my collection! It was so enjoyable just roaming around the streets looking at buildings, canals, and views. There are also plenty of places to eat.
So much to see—many museums, botanical garden, canals, boating and biking options, and more. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Small scale city, easy to walk or bike everywhere. Central location with great train service makes Leiden a perfect base to visit Amsterdam, Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam as easy day trips.
Leiden is a beautiful town with very friendly people. We used it as a central location to explore the Netherlands and to visit the Keukenhof. The central railway was very nice and had multiple and frequent departures and arrivals. WE walked almost everywhere we went in Leiden. It was quiet after dark but very active in any daylight hours. My only recommendation is riding a bicycle in Leiden for novice riders is a bit overwhelming. Overwhelming numbers. The ice cream we ate in Leiden was the best I have ever eaten.
Leiden is a beautiful city to walk in, from small streets to large churches and old windmills. There are also top of the line museums available. And the best of all it is a city that seems to be in the middle of all, 15 min from airport to train, 20 min from Amsterdam and Den Hague etc.

The hotel is new and is conveniently located just in front of Leiden Centraal railway station and a few minutes from the historic centre of Leiden. My room had a nice view towards the railway station and the new part of the city. The buffet breakfast was very good and was served from 6.30 to 11 am, both during the week and at weekends.

Nice modern hotel close to the Leiden railway station. Walking distance to city center. The bed was very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were large and clean, and we were provided with everything that we needed, even with an electric kettle for making tea/coffee in the room. The wifi worked very well.

Hotel is close to the railway station with good connection to Den Haag, Amsterdam and Schiphool airport. Walking distance to the beautiful historic center of Leiden with plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants. The room is good like the room in four stars hotel should be.

The room was great; fit our family of four snugly. We spent most of our time out and about so it worked for us. LOVED the fact that we could rent bikes from the hotel. Breakfast was good. The pool entertained my kiddos.

The building(s) has a history of its own--houses built during the glorious age of trade and imperial expansion and refurbished as a hotel in modern times. The hotel is a short and pleasant walk from Leiden Centraal and the major museums in town. I requested a room overlooking the Rhine and did not regret the choice--I had a nice view of the bridges, canals, and shops that surround the hotel. The only minor complaint was the noise, which I have to say is still bearable, given the hotel's proximity to the Wednesday and Saturday makeshift markets and to the two main shopping streets of lovely Leiden.

Extremely spacious, and it’s great location. Margo was extremely proficient in her check in process, and the place is surrounded by beautiful people working as volunteers at the church.
