Everything was just perfect! There's a carport for your car, the host was waiting for us outside to welcome us even though we arrived late (told her what time we should arrive through booking.com), she welcomed us with a drink and snack. The room was very cozy and super clean. Everything was decorated along the season, we even had a Christmas tree in our room. We also had coffee and tea in our room. The TV has plenty of channels to choose from. We had our bathroom inside our room (upper level room's bathroom is downstairs), the breakfast was delicious and well presented. We upgraded to the luxurious breakfast option at the B&B itself. The town of Bourtange is on a short walking distance (+-10 minutes). This place is silent. When you wake up you hear birds and nature. Nothing else!

Loved the room, location, and hospitality. Room was more like a studio apartment with a stove, TV and a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes, cutlery. Breakfast was more than what I expected. I mentioned that I was vegetarian and maybe just a coffee and some croissants would be ok. But I got so much more than that! The room itself is part of their house and the neighborhood is full of beautiful houses including this one. The location was beautiful. Didn't get a chance to walk around though. Maybe another time. The owner had come by in the night when I reached, to show me around. Before I left the next morning, she came by to ask me how everything was. It was a nice gesture.

We loved the room, which had high ceilings, huge, comfortable bed, nice dining table, outside was a sitting area with table and chairs... and the bath was superb, with a huge bathtub and a comfortable walk-in shower, as well as double sinks. All in all very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and they even gave us plastic bags to take the left-overs and have them for lunch. Such a good service. The area was surrounded by nature and there was a lot of walking paths to walk with the dog. Everything was green and blooming... really relaxing place.

We loved the pastoral setting close to Ft. Bourtange. Enjoyed the VERY comfortable beds and it was stocked with all we needed. Heike and Erik were gracious hosts (as were the sweet pups!). Great restaurant nearby.

This place was super clean!

This place was super clean! I was welcomed with a bouquet of roses, belgium chocolates, ans special marzipan filled cookies. It was super quiet, overlooking a huge sugar beet field, with no neighbours. Great walks in the area! Check out the herbal tea mongolean tent, called De Rust! For people into thermal baths, there is a great spa, Bad Nieuweschans, about 35 minutes away.
